At a crossroads in my life....

Hey everyone.

Ok here is my problem. I have been smoking for about a year and a half, Im 16. I got caught by my parents back in January and have been getting drug tested every month or so since. Ive smoked maybe 5 times since January.

Should I just smoke when its offered to me, like at a friends house or party or whatever. I dont fucking know. My parents were really mad, basically looked down on me as the failure of the family, my siblings are all smart and im the fucking dumb drug addict. What do you guys think, i need some input. Thanks.

well its going to be tough.you could try to explain the good points of marijuana but i doubt they are going to listen.there is ways around the drug test,eat a lot of poppyseed bagels.hahah.just keep smoking and they should eventually accept it.hopefully,i got my fingers crossed for ya.

Also, pick up some niacin from GNC or some health store. Take three two days before, and two the night before. It's like $30 for 50 pills i think. Cleans out your system.
Then you can keep on smokin, with three or 4 day breaks. :)

don't use the words "dumb" and "drug addict" in the same sentence. your giving us a bad name. educate yourself. i say, "do what you want", but from what i read it doesn't sound like your very comfortable with being a pothead.

just do what makes you feel good, but don't forget to be productive with your life. The minute you stop that and grass or any other substance becomes your 'all' you're an addict. Get comfortable about who you are,what you can achieve,what feels good to you, and let'r ride. Your parents are just concerned 'cause your 16.

ur not a drug addict first off, and tell ur parents to chill out...but do watever u want that keeps you out of trouble for now

if u keep smoking they will get used to it, or get over it, if you dont want them to, theeeeen stop smoking, or just be like "yeah i smoke pot, occasionally, what? you're gonna be a nazi now? FUCK OFF", and then they'll get used to it quicker:)

Are they dissapointed in you because of the drug, or for other reasons too? If you fix the other ones, they might accept the drug part, because they would have no bad behaviors to associate it with.

it is no big deal to not smoke.. It will actually be fun to have will power.... you will have your whole life to smoke... there is nothing WRONG with NOT smoking.. there is nothing wrong with NOT putting on shoes in the morning.... There is nothing wrong with not yelling at the guy who cuts you off..

You know, if you wait until you are 25 till you smoke the chances of getting cancer drop DRAMATICALY... it is people who start young that are really putting themselves at risk... cause your body is still developing....

Some of you guys are just being fucking faggots about this whole thing and are acting like its a joke, others are being serious and I appreciate that. My parents are just looking out for my future and they think if i smoke or do any fucking drugs then I will carry that on til when im an adult and will have a hard time getting a job.

I think that this sounds pretty reasonable, you guys tell me what you think.

I won't buy shit or have any paraphanalia, but I will do shit if it comes my way. I guess this is me stopping my own self from smoking weed, but i know for the rest of my life I will always push to legalize marijuanna, in whatever ways I can. thanks for reading.

Dude jus lay off it for a while, you can smoke when you go to college or leave home. I f you do continue toking, make sure that you don't fall behind at school etc and prove you can toke n still do well. I guess its easier for me I'm 25 my parents aren't too worried bout me smoking and come n chat to me when I have a joint outside the back door. But I do know how you feel but shit man, you're only 16 you have a long smokin life ahead of you :)

As much as everyone is probably going to disagree with me on this one, I would respect your parent's request. I mean, they are putting a roof over your head, putting food on your plate, paying the bills, they're fucking taking care of you man. If you really want to smoke, then just wait until you've graduated from high school and move out. Then you can do whatever the fuck you want. This is coming from the mouth of experience, the last thing you want is for your parent's not to be there for you when you need them the most. And if you disrespect them by smoking behind their backs, they might just turn theirs on you.

I just tell my mom to chill with me smoking. And I hide my shit really good. I'm getting some scales and shit delieved to my house and I'm just telling her it's car parts. Just always think in advance what you're gonna tell em' if you come home stoned.

In large doses, you mean? Usually the energy drinks I drink have a good bit of niacin in them and I've never experienced skin burning.

niacin is a sort of catalyst for your metabolysm , so i guess it could help flush your system...but it can really fuck your liver up if you take too much...
