To me, any song that doesn't sound good when I'm not stoned is a "song that sounds good stoned".

I love Hendrix, Rush, and Mozart stoned, or not stoned. That's not a question.

Well, growing up with Hendrix music and hearing it often, I may have taken it for granted. Recently, I smoked, put on the headphones and listened to Purple Haze. Incredible. There's so much depth in that recording.
I rented Woodstock again too. If you get the chance to see it,watch his fingers as he plays that guitar. What soul that man had. Wow.

...and then there's Jeff Beck. There's a Hendrix tribute CD out there. Jeff Beck and Seal do a version of 'Manic Depression' that is real good. The spin Doctors do a great version of "Spanish Castle Magic' too.

I replaced Pink Floyd with Rush, probably because I grew up six hours down the road from Lake Ontario.
