Me and a few guys i know go out weed hunting, looking for weed growing in the local woods. My friend found/stole 2 Oz's, ive went a few times but havenâ??t found anything yet.
If i did find some, id never strip the plant clean, id probably take half.
me and a buddy went across the mighty mississippi into neighborin illinois (from iowa) to go ditch diving... we came across a small patch about 5 miles into the woods... the shit wasnt that good, but we mixed it with some kill and sold most of it to get more kill...
That's a good way to get your ass shot off, plus it's fucking stealing!!!!!!!!!! I hate a fucking thief. Grow it yourself dick for brains and see how well you like people stealing from you!!!

And you have to think of it this way... if you find a patch of weed in the middle of no where and take some is it really considered stealing? If it's out of someone's back yard, then that's one thing, but if it's out in a field or the woods somewhere I would consider that fair game. Look at it from a different perspective people.... if it isn't in someone's house or backyard, then it's fair game. Stumbling across some plants and "liberating" some herb from them is pretty trashy. I'd prompty remove the bowl from the hands of someone sharing that story with me and introduce them to the door with my foot.
How is it trashy if they're in the middle of bumblefuck? Maybe selling them for profit, that'd be trashy, but picking some of them to smoke isn't such a big deal. If no one specifically planted them there and they were in the middle of nowhere, then it really wouldn't be a big deal. I simply don't get why you guys are freaking out about this shit. If it isn't owned by anyone and it's in the woods or something, I think the only right thing to do would be smoke it and NOT waste it.Quote:

I doubt many people are planting herb plants five miles deep into a bunch of woods in the middle of nowhere. And even if he did, i'd imagine he'd probably have a hard time finding where he planted them in the first place. While I agree that the term "Weed hunting" may not be the best term to use, at that same time it isn't like he's going specifically into someone's private back yard to take their stash. He also said he was from iowa... having lived in iowa for a short period of time when i was much younger, along with being there ever so often, it's a pretty non-populated state, which leads me to believe that if you found a plant in the middle of no where, it wouldn't be anybody's. I'm not saying "It's ok to steal"... but if the plants are in the middle of no where and are outdoor plants that haven't been tended to (It'd be pretty easy to tell if someone had been caring for them) then there isn't really a reason for a person to leave them there and waste it. At that same point in time, if it has obviously been cared for, then leave it alone... It's all how you look at it man...Quote:

You're really going out of your way to protect people that steal which leads me to believe this will be my last post on the subject. Taking something that isn't yours off of property that isn't yours and consuming it is stealing. Guerrilla growing is practiced by a lot of your fellow stoners that simply cannot grow on their property. Are we supposed to be "laid back" while you rip us off?
All of these excuses of why it would be "okay" to strip a plant are moot. You're trying to justify it to yourself and the rest of us and I'm not buying. Stealing is stealing is stealing.

It is hillbillies with shotguns here, ripoffs do get shot, the biggest problem here is the mexican nationals have plantations on public land, 2 deer hunters got shot last week, cops found a couple hundred plants and arrested 3 guys all illegal aliens for the killings, if traipsing around your local woods is the way you insist on getting your smoke, keep in mind the work someone put into it, like 6 months worth, then think about how you would feel, support your local grower buy your herb, ripoffs are the reason I grow indoors, I just think it might be a bit more dangerous to steal it chancing seeing some iced out freak protecting his plants than it is to buy it from your local herbhead. but hey good luck
