As for myself;) well i was 12 years old. I got home from school one day, and my brother was in his room with his head out the window with his bong...Well i was like wtf are u doing bro and he is like getting high don't tell mom. i was like damn he was 14 at the time:p Well then he tells me to get a toke and i am like damn how so he started schooling me on how to take a hit from a bong ok, and i am freaking out kinda:p well i got so high i could not believe. he freaked out cus it affected me hard. Well i passed out lmao for like 3 hours, and i woke up and wanted to toke again:p thats my story:) Till this day my brother will never toke with me again:(

well i was 14. i was a cheerleader in high school, and after our first football game of the season we had all the girls over to a senior's house and we drank. so someone gets the bright idea to smoke a blunt. so 5 of us go out on the balcony and do shotguns. i did 5 or 6 i'd say and didn't feel a thing, but then again my friend and i ate a whole bag of doritos. i didn't really feel a high untill the third time i smoked. a friend gave me a joint (sucker! haha) and i smoked it one night out on my roof. it was then that i realized i'd be smoking pot for life. now the funniest story i have was when i got my buddy high the first time. he didn't react very well. we went for a burn ride and my friend and i were in the front and he was in the backseat. we were driving down old country roads getting baked and he decides to open his door at 55 mph cuz he wants to see the road. we freaked out and slammed on the brakes and at about 20 mph he jumps out of the car and goes running thru the corn field!!! i always keep the child locks on now.

my first time, I skipped an afternoon of school, and walked with my buddy back to his place. His bro was already there, putting the finishing touches on a new hookah, called Mr. Bubbly 2 (after the unfortunate demise of Mr. Bubbly 1). it had sparkley shit inthe water, and toked like mad...it was great! they handed me a tube, and said to suck, so I did. Then I was baked for awile, and couldn't get out of the chair, even though I was still in the basement, and everybody else was upstairs watching the teevee. So I eventually got upstairs, and found some Nutella and bread in the cupboards. Then I couldn't talk for a while, because I had Nutella in my mouth.

I was 13 and my brothers best friend decided it was time for us to toke. I wanted to try cannabis for a long time. It was the talk in school, people kept asking, "would you try weed if you had the chance ect..."

Well one day, my bros best friend and mine (they're brothers) both brought over 20 bucks each. They got 2 grams. I was like, "Damn, $40 for that? It's so small that will take like 5 minutes to smoke"

We made a toilet paper roll pipe with foil on it. We went to the park and smoked up. They kept asking if I was high, I was like, "I don't know, am I?" lol I had no idea, but I wasn't high.

First time I got high was when my friend was smoking cancer sticks. I watched him smoke it before we smoked some bowls. I knew then that I had to *inhale* yeah lol that's right I never did. I took some huges ass hits and man, I remember that day. I was running around my bro and his friends singing i'm stoned! They were trying to calm me down because there was a cop in the street and it was like 1 in the morning.

I was a junior in high school the first time I smoked pot. So I guess I was 17 or so. Yeah I know, I started late. Probably better that way anyways, less wear and tear on the lungs. It was just me and a friend smoking at a party in december. Well we did a few bowls and I felt nothing. Not really a good story, I know. I didn't get high until the third time I smoked, which was good because if I didnt feel anything after three times I was just going to quit trying. Once I got high I knew I was hooked :D

I'm not 100% sure when I started...it was during high school, so somewhere between 15 and 18.

those years are a big, shiny blur to me now, occassionally highlighted by events or places I fell asleep at.

As for me the first time i puffed on the sweet green i was 8 years old and my cousin was staying with us (he was 12 at the time) for a few weeks. One day the 2 of us were walking through Fishcreek park and he pulled out a huge blunt and sparked it up. I didnt know what it was at first i thought it was a really big smoke but it smelled weird so i questioned him about it and he sayed it wasnt a different kind of smoke and handed it to me so i took the a hoot and coughed for a good while and keeped hooting through the whole damn thing by the time we were done i was really high and iv been smoking ever scince then. damn i wish that i could get high like that again what a feeling.

well thats a bit strange gonzo....but as for myself i started when i was 14(a year ago)it was awsome i had a joint of dank all to my self...i could barly stand up...ahhhhh good times

I think the 1st time left me feeling like I was going to die puked everywhere and swore if god let me live I would never do it again the older guys all jamaicans were laughing their tits off a very kind lady who i became great Friends with later put me to bed and reassured me I would live to see another day, which I doubted at the time but about a month later I tried it again but not as much,,,and I got a pleasant high and felt ok and even helped sell the red stripe and curried goat...I was about 15 and have smoked ever since and now nearing 50...and still going strong although no blue's parties..these days

Me, too, I was 18 and my friends and I were trying to get into a bar but the bartender wasn't cool. So, we started talking to the band, their roadies were rolling in the set up through the back. Is it sad that I can't recall the first time......I know I was 13 and we always made pipes out of soda cans or two liter bottles!! Yeah those were the days

oh my gosh i remembered it as i was reading your posts hehe I was with the biggest bad ass stoner in school and I told him that I had done many times before. So I had to act cool and pretend I knew what was going on.

I was 12 when I first tried it, but never got high. I didn't try again untill I was 20. Man I remember that clearly. I had just got off of work at Wendys that morning, came home and my roomate was toking up, he offered and I smoked. Didn't feel anything at first and started playing the PS1 in his bedroom, next thing I know I was laughing my a$$ of at the game I was playing. An aquaintance of ours showed up shortly after took one look at me saw me laughing and said "he's stoned isn't he", dude pulled out about a quarter ounce and we toked untill I relized I had to go back to work at about 8 that night. Lets just say it was the wackiest night I ever had at work that day.

i was 11. :( I wanted to fit in with the crowd back then so i tried that and chronic. it was strange. I didn't really know how I felt. I didn't do it for a while until i was like 12 or 13 again. we used to go in the bathroom and get high in there. elementary days i suppose were the best ever! hahaha

i started at however old u are in 6th grade, beginning of that year my sis stared smokin cigs so naturally i did. everyday after school me and 2 friends would smoke ciggs in the school fields thinkin we were cool and one time one of my friends brought some weed. it was like dirty mexican hairy armpit weed but we didnt know any better. we rolled it in a stickynot er somethin sticky on the side. jus got the more giggly but im not sure if that was from havin add er somethin but no mind alteration. i dont remember the first time i got stoned though. oh well.

yo u guys r all lucky.. getting high at 12 lol im 17 and still find it hard to get hold of any green :( thats probably coz i live on an island and everyone (yes EVERYONE) smokes solid.. the first time i got stoned on that shit i was 12/13, even by solid's standards it was pretty shit hash..

the first time i got high is still fresh in my mind tho.. i was 14/15, me and some mates decided to bunk school and go for a smoke, so we took a walk down to the beach nearby (i live on an island, remember) and started smokin some shitty hash and gettin pretty stoned off it lol.. then a group of swedish tourists came over and started talkin to us, they were just a bit older.. then the oldest one of them pulls out at least an ounce of green in a baggie.. id never seen so much nice weed before lol so this guy tuaght me how to roll a proper joint, none of that solid hash shit lol. that was a sweet day, we ended up going back to their hotel and getting wasted even tho we could hardly undwerstand wot they were sayin when they spoke to us.. lol they were speakin english but coz of their accents and us being so high we didnt have a clue wot they were sayin so we just laughed along with them, pretending we cared and smoking their weed...

Well I tell you what. The reason it's hard for you to get weed is because you are 17. If I were a dealer there is no way in hell I would sell to you. Or anyone under 18. Ever read the laws. Selling to a minor in Kentucky atleast is a major crime. Any reputable dealer that is smart and takes his business seriously will not sell to minors. Besides you are 17. I am pro legalization. But underage drug use including cigarettes and drinking is bad mmmkay. Most kids have a hard time with decision making. You think you know everything. Your life is already hard enough with peer pressure and hormones. I think adults should only smoke pot. Although I started when I was 12. I always smoked responsibly. Maybe you are responsible as well. But that's just my opinion. Oh yeah when I was younger I just had to steal some of my bf's parents stash. That is how we all did it. Just befriend someone who has some hippie parents.

The reason i cant get any decent green here is simple. I live on an island off the coast of france, about 2 hours from france by boat, 2/3 hours from london by plane. Its pretty difficult bringing large quantaties of any kind of drug into the island, hence the extortionate prices. I'm pretty sure that %99 of people who smoke weed her smoke solid.. no green, just bad quality hash. And no its not because im "just 17". When i do smoke i prefer to smoke with friends who are alot older than me, in their 20's, 30's, even 40's, but even they can only get decent bud on rare occasions.

In my opinion, what you said about being responsible is bullshit. I agree that people shouldnt smoke weed or use any recreational drug without a degree of responsibility, but I consider myself to be responsible in every aspect of my life, as do all my family and friends, so i dont see how you can say otherwise.

Also, saying you shouldnt sell to anyone under 18 is ridiculous. I agree that many people of my age are very irresponsible and shouldnt do half of the things they do, but surely it shouldnt be a rule that noone should "sell to anyone under 18". And what did you mean by "read the law" !?!?!? Correct me if im wrong, but isnt smoking weed illegal at any age?? I dont know what the laws concerning cannabis are in kentucky, and i dont care, considering i'm in a different country with different laws and regulations.

I was 18 my first time...soooo, little more than a year ago. I smoked a joint with a couple friends of mine, and it wasn't fun haha. I sat in the backseat of my car--heart-rate went through the roof--and weird paranoid thoughts entered my mind. I kept thinking my friends were plotting to kill me lol

My second time, I took multiple bong hits at my friend's cabin...and since I was drunk at the time, I was totally gone 15 minutes later lol. Here is what happened, according to my friends:
-I started flirting with a girl (let's call her..."Fiona")...,Fiona, however, had an admirerer (notice how I didn't put "boyfriend')
-This admirerer was psychotic ( I had no idea he was psycho at the time)
-The psycho didn't like me talking to Fiona.
-He somehow managed to get Fiona, who was also drunk, to go outside with him.
-I was semi-conscious on the sofa, when another one of my friends says, "Dude, psycho-guy took Fiona out into the woods. You should go after them to make sure he doesn't rape her" (now that I think of it, why didn't he go? I was almost passed-out! anyway..)
-I go outside yelling "Fiona!"...she comes staggering out of the woods and back into the cabin. Psycho guy gets pissed off, punches a tree, and breaks his hand. His brother ends up having to take him to a hospital.


I guess earlier, somebody heard psycho guy say " I hate Tyler sooo much! I want to kill him", so in conclusion, if psycho guy hadn't have left his bowie knife in the lodge before he punched the tree, I'm pretty sure I would be dead :( Needless to say, I didn't smoke or drink for awhile after that lol

I can still, after all these years, remember my first time. My older brother thought it would be funny to get a kid high, so guess who he picked? I was 10. The weed was bunk, and I was scared shitless we would be cought. I never did get cought. Well, that ain't exactly true. I never got cought while I was a kid I should say.

My oldest kid is 18, almost 19. When he was 16 he came out to stay with me for the summer. On the way home from the airport he decided he would brag to me how good the weed was he had been tokin in MO. I didn't receive his new info about him tokin weed very well, but I couldn't really say much to him while high. It was a few days later when I got a package in the mail from overseas. WW is what it was. I came home and acted upset and mad. I told him to haul his ass down to his room and wait for me there, and that he was in bad trouble. I made him wait a while to wonder what the hell. Then I went down and burst into his room like I was really pissed. The look on his face was one of "what the hell did I do". I held out my pipe and lighter to him, and his look changed to "what the hell is he doing" and he just froze like that. I told him I wasn't going to hold it there all day and he finally snatched it from me and took a hit. We sat in his room and watched Up in Smoke with a few bowls. It was some of the best bonding we ever had. After the first few hits he decided the weed he toked in MO wasn't that good after all. I don't regret getting high with him at all. Looking back at it now, I actualy think it was a good thing. It made us more then just son and dad, we became friends also.
