my bubbler is totally plugged with resin...i heard that a good way to clean it is to soak it in 99% ethyl alcohol. i also hear that i can make oil from the alcohol when i'm done...i don't want to do it inside because i heard that that can be really dangerous, so i want to know if i can "save" this alcohol/resin mixture and if so, what is the best way to preserve it?
or you could scrape it and smoke it

there's no way to scrape it without breaking it dude. unless you know of a way that i don't...i'd be happy to entertain any suggestions as long as they don't endanger my piece. it's ccg and it was really fucking expensive.
ok heres a way u can do it without breaking it
get a big ol pot of water, put it on the stove and boil it and put ur pipe in their when the water starts bubbling...after a bit the water will be brown and most of the resiin in ur bubbler willl have floated to the top..remove ur bubbler and pour the water through a strainer so u can get all the sweet resin
CAUTION: this method will make ur house reek of pot

Use alchohol and salt to clean it
don't use rubbing alcohol tho. unless you like dying.

There is a lot more to it than that. Is that a bottle soaking "substanse" in alchohol?
You had it a bit out f sequence. First you clean it with alchohol, extracting the rough oil and sundries. After cooking and mixing, let settle. The top layer has the THC oil, the middle is tars, wax, shit, bottom is really the bottom so leave it. Siphon off the top. Then you use methylalcohol and mix the alcohol oil you siphoned off. Shake well, mix, let settle, take honey oil from top, let evaporate, viola!
To keep fires from starting read my article on how to clean your grinder. I should have it done by Monday. I will show the part with the alcohol extract over electric and open gas stoves. The Methyl part does not need heat to do its job and is an extra step to make honey from the dark oils.
