We ARE in the animal kingdom. Why do humans believe that we are seperate from animals?

what separates an animal from a human is the ability to consider anothers feelings before we act...or so they say....but dont cats and dogs get onto it when ur ill or upset and "comfort u"

The fact of the matter is that humans ARE animals. We just like to think that we're above that.
What seperates humans from animals is that we can express our emotions through art....writing, painting, singing, music, purely for the joy or pain of it.
We're still animals, though. According to Wikipedia, an animal is "multicellular, capable of locomotion and responding to their environment, and feed by consuming other organisms"
I think the main difference between us & animals that aren't human is civilization.
