Here is a much better written piece i wrote the day after my first encounter with what i have come to called the "weed of vision".

My Rare Encounter


I found last nights session to be singularly unique and exquisitely incredible.

This is a recount of what happened.

I smoked two extremely large bong hits out of the Little Man (my tiny bong). Never before have I come closer to coughing when taking a bong hit. They were beyond huge, and the smoke was thick and pleasant.

About 15 to 18 minutes into the trip I sat back at my desk and turned to stare at my mushroom magic poster. The black light was on, the room wavered in a palid glow, Fame (by David Bowie) was playing softly in the back round.

I could see the poster.
I squinted my eyesâ?¦
The poster twisted, somewhat warped, its neon colors popping out a littleâ?¦I waited and watched.
Then a haze clouded my vision
I could see directly infront of me the shimmering outline of what I took to be
standard weed patterns that I usually see form in the air when on medium to high dose
trips.
I was wrong.
The patterns begin the materialize, gaining in both clarity and volume.
Then the space I was staring at; being the opposite side of my room, took on a very shimmering quality.
I sat back, sensing something about to happen.
The shimmer gained in prominence to the point that it was extremely hard for me to see anything remotely like my room. All that was real were the patterns I was seeing.
Then there was the stair case.
Mind you I am still staring at my black light poster eyes wide open in complete awe.
I could see the light out line of some staircase going down, lost in the intricate patterns forming infront of me.
But it became more real.
I soon was traveling down it, making turns, watching the walls change and go from scary gothic to lonely stone.
Soon I â??enteredâ?? a huge hall.
All hell broke loose.
What I saw were many things, many images of cosmic proportions.
Tho dissociation in a DXM sense wasn't achieved, I could easily feel a drifting feeling occurring, more in regards to the area of my room I was looking at. It had expanded and was infinitely huge, and my poster was nothing but a single star being swallowed by the vastness of space.
I remember seeing large structures, not alien, not human, but simply made by nature.
They all crawled with geometric patterns.
At one point I could very vividly see an orb floating in front of me, very real. It turned, and all around me my room flexed and warped in time to the rotations of the orb and the beat of the music.
Soon I was floating in a hall with only the faintest likeness of my room, almost completely composed of undulating patterns, making up some sort of beautiful cosmic wall in which smack dab in the center sat this massive orb. My Shroom poster shimmered beautifully in the background, barley noticeable against the vast â??thingâ?? I was looking at.
Because the orb was no orb.
It had warped
I could more clearly see my room, but I somehow knew it wasn't over.
That was just a sample.
Just to give you a sense of my room. It is somewhat long, Iâ??d say 20 to 27 feet across, but only 13 to 15 feet wide. Its comparable to a large rectangle. I sat at one extreme end gazing down towards the other.
Soon I thought I was looking down a hallway that was pushing back for miles and miles.
The walls began to ripple with patterns
Geometric shapes gained 3D qualities and would randomly pop out of the wall to my delight.
The Shroom poster took on a more prominent role.
I could see it warp, its funny charectures twisting into almost unrecognizable shapes.
The colors were popping out.
Everything was moving jumping sprinting undulating covered in spectacular patterns.
Not to mention colorful.
This trip was colorful.
Everything sparkled with reds and blues.
Though they werenâ??t vivid or exactly real I could still easily see them
I then noticed an open feeling, much like walking into a huge hall in the middle of the night. You know that the space has opened up around you, but you donâ??t know the extent to which it has expanded.
I felt something big.
Once again another shimmering luminessant pattern began to cloud my vision, and as I let myself slip deeper into a trance it gained in clarity.
I was staring at some astral belt, miles upon miles long, vastly huge; cosmic proportions.
Twas beautifuâ?¦

I smoked a builder about 40 minutes into the trip and experienced somewhat similar results, though not as profound as the original. The experience was rare, and if I'm correct only lasted about ten minutes. I have had intense intense experiences from smoking cannabis, some perhaps more intense than this one. But none have produced more wild or realistic visuals. They were startlingly clear, and at the height of their existence I lost all sense of where I was. I was simply there, completely involved in the trip. my room had fallen into lower priority, my eyes no longer saw what once was familiar. Instead I gazed out onto a landscape so beautiful, so full of patterns and colors that it will live with me forever.
This was a rare and beautiful experience.
Perhaps it was just the weed and Iâ??ll be able to live it again soon (since I still have a good amount left) or perhaps this was something that only happens once and a while.

that last thread was bullshit,hope this gives you a better idea of what i was experiencing. once again, anyone ever reach that sort of high on what (presumably) is straight unaltered marijuana? please share, as much detail as u want, i enjoy a good read.

ive never had anything that trippy, but i remember once i have a jimi hendrix poster where hes burning his guitar and he started swaying and the flames started coming off of the poster, also his hair kinda blends in with the black background, so the entire background looked like one big afro

The best weed I've smoked and I don't get fucking crazy visuals like that... most you can get, in my opinion, is fucking dots. Prove me wrong, visionaires. Because I think it's all in your imaginations.

Imaginations can become very vivid in certain altered states.

Yeah, but imagaing stuff... yeah, it can be fun. But that really isn't seeing shit, is it? Mushrooms... you'll see stuff then. OR DMT!1 Yeah, Duke... smoke some DMT!1

Ive done DMT, and yeah man, now those are visuals. and Salvia; WOW. Need to respect that herb. Like i said about 20 minutes into the bud i felt something happen, it was very obvious that i just got higher. i smoked my friend up, and he had the same thing. he said it was extremely colorful, and at one point (aprx 25 mintues in) he suddenly began to see shit, and by seeing shit he ment full on 3 D geometric patters etched on my walls, breathing, undulating walls, the works. i would hate to find out it was laced, but i leave that possibility open. then again, never at one point did i experience fear; just pure bliss; classic herbal love. problably a Sativa strain, since it was such an intense head high. And cocacola, i know what real visuals r, im no newb. what i saw would qualify as visuals, and for weed, i was pretty shocked.

That's why it's in my sig, man. But yo, that is some pretty powerful stuff you must have smoked. I only wish I could get some weed like that. ;\
