Die in Stephen King's next book.
If you have a spare $20,000 or so then here's your chance to be a character in Stephen King's upcoming horror novel, 'Cell', and perhaps even be murdered in it (a dying character must be female, though).
I don't know if anybody else here likes Stephen King and his books (i'm NOT talking about the movies..), but personally I love all of his writings - even if the stories themselves can sometimes be a bit cliche - and own most of his novels. I reckon he's one of the best writers of our time, and certainly the most prolific. I dunno about paying that much to be in one of his books, though..... but hey, whatever floats your boat! :)

Edit: Doh! So he's the dude who made Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy? lol Awesome.

Die in Stephen King's next book.
Wanna hear a weird story?
I was inside a super-store with my friend. He was looking around for something and I said to myself, "I'm gonna look for something, too". So I went over to the side, where they had a bunch of books. I found my good friend Stephen King and bought the book "The Green Mile". Six months later, I heard that they were gonna come out with a movie.

Because, of all the books, I picked that one, they were all just sitting there. After I read it, the movie came out and a lot of people were talking about it.
It was a few years until I saw the movie. There are three differences, all extremely minor. It was an amazing translation from the book to the movie.

saw yllautca eliM neerG ehT
Holy fucking crap.... Okay that was totally weird. I started typing out a reply to you and when I looked at the screen what I typed had come out backwards. I swear I don't know how that happened but it's tripping me out... =/
What I was TRYING to say was;
The Green Mile was actually a series of 6 books, published one per month for six months. By the time the last one was published all six were at the top of the New York Times best sellers list simultaneously. Then I think, after the story was made in famous because of the movie, it was rewritten and rereleased as one whole book.
I think.
I'm still freaked out about my typing coming out backwards.

It said that on the back of the book. I got it when that came out and I never heard of it before.
The entire book was before the movie.

That's what's so weird about my story.

Yeah, that's cause with Stephen King novels so many directors want to turn his books in to either movies, TV series', or TV special-type-things (like on HBO or something). 'Cause he kicks ass. :)

So, you should read the book, The Green Mile was beautifully written (and beautifully directed).

I do agree ghost fantastic reading.Dean R Koontz great also they are actually the type of reading that keeps me interested.I seen to loose interest in books quite easily if they get a bit boring and never finish them. Those two fellas have extremeley creative genius writing talent.I wish i could write.

I loved the book hearts in atlantis, amazing fucking book, the whole death in uetero of an entire generation.
Its an amazing book, I recommend to anyone else.
And think of the way our society has ogne that instead of being paid for having a character based on you in a book, but PAYING to have a character based on you die in a book...Your paying "the man" to pay attention to you.
Well fuck that.

Die in Stephen King's next book.

That's pretty impressive. I have books on half of the two first shelves on my bookcase. 97.2% of them are in various corners of various right angles throughout my house.
