A scary thought, indeed. One thing's for sure though, it will be a long time before they'll get everyone to go along with that. If they tried to implant a chip in everyone, there'd be a huge revolt. They'll have to brainwash everyone for at least several years or more first.

Or they could do it secretly, through a vaccine or something. Or they could put them in all babies at birth (when the parents aren't around of course).

Get real folks, even if Roberts said he was against chip implants, the nightmare of mandatory implants will eventually come to fruition.(which sucks but wtf are we supposed to do?) The fact is chip implants will be driven by economics, and by the time the government starts requiring its citizens to have such chips implants, the topic will be considered of little relevancy to most people. The reason being that by that time most people will already have been chipped for medical and insurance purposes, and thus will not be made uncomfortable by government sanctioned mandatory chipping.

Why didn't we get to hear his answer? I'm kinda curious. This might be a time when the christian right might actually be useful, mark of the beast, and all that.

don't expect the fake establishment christian 'right' to be against it though, expect them to be all for it...

it's not the mark of the beast...it's the mark of freedom...our government only has the best of intentions with this chip...

Yep, in the future you'll be branded as a terrorist if you DON'T set off the metal detector. Unless the common people decide to do something about it. Remember, every major advance in society has come from the common people rejecting some tyranny, not the rulers deciding to get rid of it for us. Think about the French Revolution, the abolition of slavery, the end of Prohibition, civil rights, the feminist movement, and the labor movement. All these things were created by common people who forced the government to conceed to their demands. They were not done by the tyrannical leaders.

And that's the only way the chip will be defeated. Through the common actions of the masses against the authoritarians. Not by voting for the next Republicrat who promises freedom only to rape it.

Count me as one of those who will fight it. I swear if the government tried to put a chip in me they'd have one hell of a fight, I would, without any doubt in my mind, FLIP OUT.

yeah, who in their right mind would take that? even if you think the government is loving and cares about your future and freedom and the constitution...who's to say some nutjob won't take advantage of it? anne frank couldn't have hidden from the nazis...

that's why we're at least 20 years away from it being mandatory, your kid gets it when he/she is born, and you can't do a damn thing about it...because you have freedom.

it still has to be introduced through the media though and made popular...then it will be for VIP things and for sales...then eventually it's mandatory.

they've got to train a whole new generation that total tracking is just the way it is...it's the norm, this will be the school's job, after homeschooling is illegal...tyranny is the norm...don't question it or fight it, just go along with it and everything will be okay...

national id cards and microchips and living in your commons like a feudal slave is freedom...it's just the way it is, meanwhile the elite travel the world and have freedom and advanced technologies and medical treatment us peasants won't get.
