u dont have to do anything, unless germinating them in tissue or cotton wool counts as doin summit to them b4 planting them. i heard that some growers place the seeds in a glass of water for a few hours to get things goin faster, i have never done this and i dont really think it is necessary, but i wud advise germinating them in tissue before putting them in souil(if growing in soil) then u definatley know theyve germinated, and u dont have to go diggin around when u get worried they havent worked. like the old sayin curiosity killed the seed.
When I germinated seeds I like to put them in a good tough paper towel that won't break easily so i can go back time to time to see if the seed has sproutedQuote:

I really don't know why so many people handle their seeds at sprouting  .... I just stick them about 1 inch down in a 4 inch pot to start them. I've enjoyed 100% successs so far....... Hard to belive with all you guys talking s@#$ about Nirvana Seeds, huh?
prep works best
Okay, you got me :p ..........I've got some bag seed I can sacrafice in the name of science so I'm going to see what all the fuss is about.........
Hay dumass!!! how did the sacrafice go? Thot i would ask. [the king]
um i live in england and was wondering about my seeds i nicked em of a mate from his ten of nice bud and i have it in tissue paper but also how wet should the tissue be and also some other things like i dont know about the whole no soil no nuting thingy puting it in a moist warm place
i left my seeds in glass of water for about 24 hours. i waited till i saw the shell start to crack before i moved them into soil. that way you know you have a growing plant in each pot. i used botteled water because it was what i had nearme when needed water : ) good growing
// sorry i dont know how to delete a post //

Dumass, I have 90% germination with the paper towel method. I have never been able to do better with just planting. I would really like to hear the results of your sacrifice.
yeah seed prep is always a good idea if for nouthing else so you KNOW that ever pot you have has a liveing seedling in it. that way you dont waste your time and money on a buckeyt of dirt.
but then again ur not wasting any money by letting a pot wait there, except u gotta get a little water. And I defeated that old saying "curiosity killed the seed" because I dug up the seed and have a plant from it, so I say to querky english lines "I beat you!"
umm running thoses big ass lights for days on end that cost some bucksQuote:
