Anyway...
I watched most of that slide show and couldnt believe how devestated that area is. Wow so much under water, destroyed and so many stranded, dead, homeless.
What a horrible disaster.
I recommend if you watch the slide show to skip manually. There are way too many duplicate pictures. But worth looking at to show you what they have left.
These are the only images Ive seen. I have yet to turn on the television.

Not only are people's homes and lives completely destroyed, but think enviromentally about that area. "Cancer row" was probably damaged, releasing several very toxic chemcials. Bodies aren't buried in New Orleans, they're above ground, which may cause a lot of sick people. It is going to take New Orleans a very long time to recover. Very long time.

My thoughts are with all you guys in the US right now, and heartfelt condolences for the families of those lost.

Could you provide some type of link that would state that. Hell, they even bury people ABOVE ground there so in which case it floods, there won't be corpses floating around.

I am in TX. and jeeze,we're takin a quater million citizens in in 3 major cities here.They started a job fair in arlington which is about 20-30 minutes away from me (I live in the sticks relatively).This morning on the local news their talkin about 10,000 survivors and 10,000 dead bodies underwater, as well they are tryin to get everone out cause of the contamination,ecoli,natural gas leaks,etc.etc.This is real shitty,gas prices are up,katrina blasted the south,and this is only the begining of huricane season.
