How old is the plant? Does it have other leaves? If it does, it is common for those first two round seedling leaves to droop and die.
OMIGOD THANX!!!!!! its about one month old maybe 6 weeks, there are two sets of 1 two sets of 3 two sets of 5 and a new set coming out now, do you think she'll be okay?!?!?!?!
its not the seedling leaves its the first other set of one leaf each side that is drooping.
Oh she'll be fine(hope it's a she). The little round original leaves almost always droop and die. No worries! :)
I've seen that happen also. It should still be okay. If the next set up turns yellow then you may have a bit of nitrogen difficiency. But this doesn't sound like the case really.Quote:

That's exactly how I felt yesterday after he calmed me down. Sawleaf, how do you know so much about growing? You couldn't have learned that in the Marines! I checked out your profile and you're 4 years younger than me and I'm freakin' clueless. Anyway, I'm glad White Widow is for beginners because that's what my babies are.:D
I don't know as much as the more experienced growers, but I am always hungry for knowledge. I have a library of books on cultivation*(more is spent on books than growing supplies+seeds+lights+etc), and I am constantly picking up new ones to see what else I can learn. Plus I am always surfing the web for more grow tips and info. I think I am on the forum a lot for the same thing you guys are(learning) and I just seem to get to your questions first. If I don't know the answers personally, I will always try and do some research for fellow cultivators :) But don't think I'm an expert, I'm not. :)
What do you mean by stunting it??? Do you want to restrict the growth?Quote:

Oh I got it. Topping or pruning. Well if it is about this I have been doing some experimenting with this lately. I have been topping some of my friends plants at the 4th nod to keep them bushy, they have been staying low and it is making them a lot bushier, but I have read that it will not increase your overall yeild per plant. I have also, been prunning some plants in a spiral so I can get better light distribution throughout the entire single stalk. If you grow a single stalk plant, you'll get that nice single fat cola, but your plant will be taller. Compact plants will produce more buds, but smaller ones along each stalk. At harvest both plants will produce about the same amount of buds/weight. In 2 months I'll post the results of the different plants(heights/yeilds/prunning styles) I will try and do more researching on this, since I can't in the mortgage office at the moment. lol
Ah Thanks guys, you know Im just doing this as more like an experiment to see if I can actually grow a decent plant. If I can then maybe I'll think about a crop for next season but for know I just want to grow it, then smoke it all with friends to see how the like it, shit I may even send you some sawleaf! you should hook me up with your e mail.
Ahh thanks for the offer DaVinci, but it's cool. Sending through the mail is asking for trouble really. Stay clandestine and enjoy the fruits of your work! I will enjoy mine pretty soon also. :)
No, I know I was just kidding. Shit, I dont need the popes at my house neither, ha any ways Im gonna post a pic pretty soon so you guys can judge for yourself. thanks fot the help it was much appreciated.
Cool, I need to post also, but I may wait until harvest
