well ill tell you a little something........i went to college to re-take my GCSE's in england..........i was taking my mock tests for my science papers........but b4 i took them i had smoked abit wiv a few friends..........my results came thru and it showed that i done well when i smoked, i got like 13/20, 15/20, 12/20 and etc.....but the other mocks i did which woz a different day, i didnt smoke.....guess wot my results 4 them were........8/20,7/20,9/20........u tell me if smoking weed messes up your head?
ive jus proven myself that it helps ya think alot better.

i thought i fucked my head up...but i cut down and just realised that i was smoking too much for my head to cope with.
If you think its fucking your head up stop smoking or at least cut down....cause no-one can really tell you how fucked your head is...its just a matter of dealing with how fucked your head is.
I also smoked through my gcse's and failed 2 i re-took one this year while possibly smoking more than i was before and passed it.

I think smoking in those critical developmental years is defintely a bad idea... Especially heavy smoking. I didn't smoke till I was 18, I think that was a pretty good age. I've decided that when my daughter turns 18 its open season on the cannabis! :D
like i said in another thread, just use moderation and know your limits, for me personally, weed durning school actually helped me out, it made me more relaxed and i was more interested in what was being taught, as well my mind was cleared from all my worries. Also having a joint before a test has always worked well for me as i wouldnt become worried about the test which would generally cause me to be better. But it dosnt work this way for everyone, so if it has a negative effect on you then you should cut down. Also their is no evidence to surport the claim that weed in itself fucks with your head in the long run, the only thing that will is if you take it out of hand and fuck yourself over.

i dont think it makes you stupider but it might cause dificulties in learning...so you might not get any smarter....lol.....jk :)

weed doesnt mess with your head. your just gonna get a lil vedge and "slow", but u can absolutly smoke weed for 50 years and be perfectly ok.
i smoke since 4 years and i always had results over 80% at school and now im in college.

There have been no 'official' legitimate scientific evaluations of people to determine long term effects of marijuana on any part of the body that have been made public.
In fact, the mandate of all official research projects has been to prove the harmful effects and to dissuade the public from using MJ .That is why the US made it illegal for any independant body to conduct studies into its benefits.
The various powers that be have no interest in entering into a study that they know will eventually disprove all of their falasies. There are people who have been using medical marijuana for decades yet the US government is not interested in the long term health of these people in regards to their MJ use since these people are walking talking examples that it doesnt affect you the way they say it does.
We all experience different short term effects though so I speculate we can show varying levels of long term effects.
I dont feel any less intelligent than I did as a youth prior to smoking. I was always a straight A student and its effects on my brain never negatively impacted my education. I have smoked for 15 years now.
In contrast, I find that it can actually enhance my thought processes and open possibilities in thought processes that I was previously blinded to. If used appropriately and moderately you shouldnt have a problem rememebering how to tie your shoes.
If it does, buy velcro. ;)
Oh BTW there are things you should be focusing on in life as a 14 yr old and recreational intoxication isnt one of them in my opinion. My daughter is 12 and she has mcuh to learn before being responsible enough to use any mind altering substances for fun. Thats my opinion, not shared by everyone.
I was 16 when I started and if I could do it again I would wait until I was 18 simply due to maturity and responsibility.

well i smoke since im 13, and weed opened my mind alot, allowed me to be much more imaginative, creative, and to evoluate a lot faster than i would have done (with harder drugz too)
so i guess if u like weed u can smoke as much as u want.

I'd say it's all good once you're done with puberty. For some that's 14. For others it's 17. But before puberty, you're still developing on a serious level, not just getting taller.
Also, before puberty, I don't think a bowl every now and again will kill you. Just be modest. It's all about self-control.
I hear ye man. I too have been a little over-indulgant with the munchies and all. Especially with the AAA Jack Herrer I've been getting lately, munchies from hell I tell you! Honestly, I understand where your coming from. It isn't real much of a proven fact that it causes forgetfulness, I am a very forgetful person, but as i've mentioned i'm also very stressed, my mother doesnt smoke weed, and she is more forgetful then I am. So, as you have said it isn't really proof it's just something that no one really knows the real causes of, a lot of the results are just plain every day chemicals that we inhale, and put into our own bodies.Caffine, Cigs, Soda...Chocolate....the list goes on. My father has been smoking pot since he was 13 years old, he turned 45 years old last month. that means he has been smoking for 32 years straight (as a kid i would always find his stashes). He only has a grade 10 education, (like alot of people from that time) but he is one of the smartest people i know. He has worked in managment for 27 years making over 50k a year. He owns 277 acres of georgous property and a very nice house. SO there is a case that goes against pot making you stupid if you smoke it at a young age. Also my father is 6 feet 3 inches and i can tell you that he wasnt that tall when he started to smoke.
Also another thing that my fathers life has proven is that weed really does have its benefits. My father has elipsey. so does his mother, so do i. I have heard stories of my father having seziures in church when he was 12 that he dosnt even remember. as a child he had many seizures but with the knowledge back then they just wernt recognized. my father started smokeing when he was 13, and about 10 years ago he stoped smoking for a bit because my parents were having financial difficulties. anyways soon after he had 3 major seizures (i will tell you, seing your father on the ground having a seizure when you are 10 years old is really fucked up). now he is susposed to take 2 pills everyday of his life but he dosnt like the effect they have on him so he takes about 1 every 3 days. at first when he started that he would have minor episodes untill he started to smoke pot again (he only stoped for about 3 months) and he hasnt had a seizure since. But who knows how different his life would have been if he started to have 3-5 seizures everyday of his life? I sure as hell know he wouldnt have been able to acomplish all he has so far.
Well just to add my 2 cents worth.
As much as we all love to smoke. We all know that weed will steal all of your ambition if you allow it to.
I will not argue how dumb it will make you cause i know of all kinds of people both successful and unsuccessful who smoke pot.
If you begin to smoke half your life away at 14 think of all the time you wasted being blasted thinkin of all those wonderful ideas you had that you COULDVE acted on instead of just keepin them at that, "wonderful ideas" while you were high.
Weed is GREAT but sometimes you have to think a lil further down the road and know that only you can decide what your future is gonna be like and know that there needs to be a balance in your life. And if you dont set one no one else will. Key word here BALANCE!

If cannabis "steals" your ambition , you never had any in the first place. You were simply deluding yourself.
To dumb it down to the simplest level I can.
Smoking no matter what introduces bad things into your system. The problem is the majority of "smoke" has vasoconstrictive properties (it lessens your breathing ability). However Cannabis smoke is a vasodilator (increases blah blah blah I think you get the picture). It also contains anti cancer agents, something other smoking products have yet to produce as well. It's also an expectorant (makes you cough up shit). Not to mention the hundreds of medical uses that have been in use for roughly 8000 yrs of recorded history.....(also zero associated deaths :))
Other than that , there is zero evidence it stunts your growth , affects you mentally (unless predispositioned towards certain types of ALREADY DEVELOPED schizophrenia), and when I say mentally I mean disease wise....not just "forgetful well im baked". Or , does any of the other myriad things prohibitionists claim.
Mint's also fairly safe to smoke , try it as a mix sometime and have a "menthol" doob I guarantee you wont regret it. (mint dried just like cannabis , not bone dry or fresh people...).
Im not saying cannabis is literally harmless but compared to any other plant product on earth.....Yes. Compared to any drug prescription or otherwise we ingest.....Yes. Cannabis has been studied scientifically for centuries try sourcing outside the United States empire......Look at universities in countries that do not participate in the US led war on drugs.....
