What makes you an activist?
I'll stand out in front of a ballpark crowd holding pictures of cannabis saying "Cannabis, marijuana, ganja, herb, Its the healthiest substance in the world but your government doesn't want you to know about it. We need to Let this Plant Grow!"
I'll stand on the street corner, or in front of headshops with cannabis postcards, collecting signatures from supporters. Then I'll go through a stack of 100 postcards and send them off to congress.
Im working on building a website that will help generate more activists.

i would like to do much more than i am currently doing for the cause ..
and hope to have the time and money to do so in the near future..
i think the one thing we can all do is when you make a few extra buck's from selling weed donate it to one of the many fine pro marijuana organization's
instead of just spemding it on your self..if you have extra seed's from midi's or schwag plant them in places where a lot of people will see them
1 govt building's
2.police station's
3.in front of any eveil corporation building [ banks /pharma co's oil co's ect ect.]4. highway median strip's and rest area's
marc emery has the right idea over grow the gov't
plant that shit every freaking where
write your local and federal representitive's often.
and for god's sake keep on smoking and sharing with other's

0o0o0hhh post cards. How many seconds do you think it takes for a post card with a signature to make it from the mail box, to the congress, to the shredder? I'm just a pessimistic arrogant fuck.

A huge proportion on my time is devoted to "activism" in the UK: for the last few years as part of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance,a political party and running a guide for campaigns called Cannabis Campaigners Guide .
There's a limited amount of people who use cannabis and are prepared to come out up front and stand for election: so far we have fought over 70 elections and gained from 0.5 to 7.5% of the vote. We believe this has taken cannabis into the political arena in the UK and has helped change policies of several other parties, as well as getting masses of information out there (over 1 million fliers).
But we have yet to see real support from the cannabis users that we have been fighting for, either at the ballot box or financially. We operate on a shoe-string budget, we are run by volunteers.
As we are a political party, we can only accept donations of less than £200 without question, and we are not allowed to accept individual or company donations of over £200 from outside the UK unless from registered UK voters or companies.
But I am pretty sure that every campaigning group is short of funds, yet just a dollar from each user just once ayear would enable so much more to be done. So if unable to donate to LCA, please help another pro-legalisation group.
