The other night after a few rips out of a PHX percolator bong in a stoney SC city...
I was eating dinner at a local Chinese place with a buddy of mine. It's a small place and was empty while we were there. Right before our food comes out we start hearing all these cats meow. I'm not joking. At first it was really funny and then after the food arrived it became somewhat less pleasant. I got over it but still... what the fuck??
dont trust those motherfuckers. in china it's common to shit on your partners chest after sex. it's impolite not too. altough u needa pay a fee of 5 more dollars to have a hooker do it since it's not a loving relationship. annnnnyyywayyyyyyyyss.... theres a little town about a halfhour from were i live called brunswick, and i swear to god im not lying there used to be a resturant called china pearl, and they had to close down and runaway bcuz cops raided the pace and discovered they were selling seaguls as chicken. there were like a thousand seaguls in the back room bbeing prepared for food!! fucking bastards!! should of burned the fuckers alive.
did it taste ok? well if so fuck it eat away cause if i thought cat tasted like chicken r beef id have 1 every night,lol im irish no oriental origins an worked in a chinese and never seen a cat gettin chopped r cooked,lol an urban myth i think
It was fine. I didn't get sick or anything. I don't believe there were cats in it. It just isn't something you want happening to you in an unfamiliar urban Chinese place.
i know i had 1 in wales and man it looked like liqui shite, i couldnt at it, my ma and sister, couldnt get enough, ur local curry shop is the best, u know it and trust the fod so any hing diff, makes u think

Yeah, all those stories about Chinese resturaunts selling dog or cat meat are urban legends. And a thousand seagulls? WTF? Where the hell are they gonna get a 1000 seagulls? Think about it, chickens, pork, beef, etc is raised in mass quantities and it would be way cheaper to stock a resturaunt full of the real thing than to go and get a bunch of seagulls, or cats, or dogs.
Some Chinese do eat crazy stuff though. I have actually lived in China and go back at least once a year. I actually have seen cats and puppies, along with scorpions, snakes, and all kinds of crazy ass shit for sale in some of the food markets there. These are considered delacacies, however, and are really expensive. You could get 4-5 chickens for the cost of a small cat.

Yea its common for some asians to eat cat and dog, and many other things we would never consider food here. But the chances of getting a cat served to you are slim. But I can surely understand the feelings when you heard all the cats before your food came. Thinking about cats while you eat chicken and worry its cat would be gross.
I think everyone has heard the stories about chineese restaurants serving cat and gull but actual cases of it are problably quite rare.
I took a first date to an authentic chineese restaurant in Toronto once. We had no idea what we were ordering . We just pointed at stuff and they brought it.
We could barely eat a thing since we couldnt identify it, but it was an experience Ill always remember. We were the only whites there and on top of that we asked for forks and spoons. They didnt have any, and nobody spoke any english. Everyone stared at us examining our 'food' with disgust, while we stared at how they ate theirs.
