I just can't figure out what Iraq has to do with 9/11?? Is there something i'm missing. Was the main reason because Iraq harbored terrorists? It's just not pliable. How is 9/11 and Iraq connected in any way? Someone please fill me in! Also, Bush is on vacation, he can't even make time to talk to this woman camped outside his ranch?? What kind of president is he. It'd be one thing if he was too busy running the country, but nope, he's do busy vacationing.
There isn't a 9/11 and Iraq connection. The 9/11 commission stated that multiple times.
I wouldn't talk to that lady either...

After 9/11 Americans were furious that it happened and terrified it could happen again. Bush used this to further his own agenda which was to go after Saddam Hussein. Whatever he did was for the good of the country and if you disagreed with him you were anti-American. At least that's what the Republicans would have us believe. Since there wasn't a direct link to Al Queada Bush lied about WMD. Now that they haven't been found he goes back to the claim that Iraq was supporting terrorists and now that Saddam is gone were safer.
BULLSHIT!!! If anything he just stirred up a hornets nest. All those borderline Muslim extremists, the ones who hated America but not yet ready for Jihad, are now pissed off enough to die for the cause. The U.S. military is seeing record low numbers of new recruits while new terrorists pop up every day. The only reason that we are safer now is that most of the terrorists are content to go after our military in Iraq, What happens when we finally pull out. Does Georgie Porgie think they'll just go away. No! They'll find new targets. Most likely here in the U.S. or in our Allies countries.

Some lady's been camping outside the president's ranch for like a month or something now. Her son died in the war in iraq. She "just wants talk to him" and stuff, but that's a little extreme for a simple talk in my opinion. And what will talking accomplish anyway?
I think she just wants to shoot him or eat his eyes or something.

They met at a ??benefit? (for lack of a better word) where he met with many relatives of dead soldiers.
It wasn??t until sometime after this that she seems to of had a change of heart and an audience.
In the beginning I had sympathy.
Now I find her repulsive.

She was once asked what she thought her son would think of what she was doing.
She said she hadn??t thought about it.
She also said that if Bush came out now and talked to her it would ruin their momentum.
Now shes giving advice about Israeli and Palestinian relations?..she makes me want to fucking vomit.
She is a sad woman who is using her families tragedy as a political platform.
If this were the case of a grieving mother who is against war?.I might think differently.

I used to consider myself a Republican... then one day it dawned on me that Republicans and Democrats both have it wrong... so wrong neither of them will ever get it right. America needs more parties and some decent, trustworthy, honest good human beings in office. America has been subjected to lieing bastards for quite a while now. But why do most Americans think it's our duty to police the world. I guess possibly because it's a responsibility of the most powerful country in the world to straighten things out. We sit here and scold at the people of the past who thought that slavery wasn't a bad thing at all. In their view, they honestly believed that slavery wasn't wrong. 100 years from now, people will sit there and scold at the U.S. for honestly believing that we have any sort of authority over Iraq, or any country for that matter. I don't even care for the cause of why we're in Iraq anymore. My main beef is that the American government currently thinks they have to police other countries. So far, we as the citizens of America have been led to believe that there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I distinctly remember sitting in a classroom watching the Live feed of Colin Powell and Condelleeza Rice making their case for invading Iraq. It wasn't to free the Iraqis, and it wasn't for oil, it was because Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. They even presented satelite photos of several buildings believed to be related to the weapons. However, I do believe that our government needs to finish what they started. Whether it was the right thing to do to invade Iraq, is really now just a moot point. Bush has been reelected, and 1200+ Americans have died. The Mayflower Compact, the very first basis of written laws in the new world (that we know of) was written in 1620. It has taken nearly 400 years for our government to get to what it is now. How can you expect to have a government up and running in a few years. It just isn't possible. Once Bush's terms are up, I believe that an extreme democrat will arise from the mass and pull the troops, out thinking the new government will suffice.
Like it has been said, Bush's administration stirred up a bee's nest that may not be able to run from.
I just don't like being lied to. I don't like it from my kids and I really don't like it from this president. The fact is he's lied about this war and he wants the US folk to support him. I support our troops because they are carrying the instructions of our "commander-in-chief", but the fact still remains. HE LIED!!! AND REPUBLICAN OR NOT...I HATE LIARS!!!!
