go to file - add file to library - then find the songs you want and add them
Alright i have them in my library, now how do i import them. Usually there's a little tab that says "import" but it's not there...so what now?
Don't know aboput an Ipod but on my MP3 player its just recognised byu th computor as an external hardrive type thingy so I just drag the song into the e: drive or whatever it is your Ipod is recognised as.
down the side by the playlists you should see the ipod just drag the songs in to it, have you set it all up properly? - used the disk u got with it
yea man i dont see why u wouldnt be able to import yer limewire songz to your ipod
when using itunes, if you plug in an ipod, it shows up on the left where your library and all of your playlists would be. if you dont see your ipod there, then itunes isn't detecting your ipod and you have some sort of configuration issue. try rebooting =P
I thought you had to pay 1.00$ a song for an ipod. So, now i find out you dont? Hmm, i should check into this ipod thing :).
Me again.....
MeatRulz, it's $1 per song for iTunes, but any mp3 files will work on an iPod... doesn't matter where you got them. :)
PotSmoky, actually, importing is how you get the file (song) 'into' your computer. Burning a cd, transferring a file, or downloading onto your iPod is actually exporting. So even if there was an 'import' button, it would be the improper task for what you want.
To load your iPod, plug it into your computer with its cable. It should automatically start grabbing all the music out of your iTunes. If it can hold all your music, yay, you're done! If not, wait til it does its lil updating thing. When it stops updating, click on the little iPod button (has a pic of an iPod) in the lower right part of the window. A menu will appear, & you can pick options such as "download only checked playlists" or "only checked songs". Then you just check all the music you want all there (& leave unchecked any you don't), & let it know. Tada! :)
nope, you can pay $1 a song online, but you can copy any of your songs on cd to itunes, copy protected or not.Quote:

you need to synch you're ipod. Click the file tab, and go to update ipod and click and that should do it. If nothing else happens then make sure you have the latest firmwear or that you're pc is actually recognising you ipod. If it isn't you probably need to reset it by plugging it into the mains and toggling hold them pressing the menu button unitl it resets.
look on www.apple.com for tutorials
