[align=center]hey its me again umm im doin pretty good i just found out one of my big buds is a male and the other strain that i have been posting up is doin pretty good but i was wondering if some of the hairs are starting to turn orange do i need to wait till like a certain percent is orange and then harvest it
its 58 days old soo i think thats 8 weeks and 2 days its just when i harvest it will those hairs turn to buds or what [/align]

not sure what you are asking.
What you have posted are the buds.
Buds consist of flowers and flower pods and a little green leaves that grows between the pods.
As they age or mature, they get bigger and bigger and bigger.
Do not worry about hair color. They will be white, red and brown.
You need a small scope to look at the trichs......you will want to harvest on the average and look for stark white trich heads....
When the majority are stark white and a small percentage of them are amber, that is the time to cut.
Your buds look frickin awesum.
Some leaves are a little large, just keep the temps down and air circulating.

I thought these would help..
The Pistils,(hairs) are not a real Indication of matureness compared to the trichomes,(resin glands).
I have had Plants were the Pistils have gown died and regrown before the trichs were ready so alot depends on the strains that your doing..

Those little Rat shack scopes are tuff indeed.
Set the thing to maximum magnification.
Hold it in one hand.
Take your bud, gently and bring it closer to the scope while looking thru it and bring it all the way until you can see in focus the trichs.
Doing it the other way by trying to focus with 2 hands while trying to keep the bud still just sucks ass :)
So hold the scope and draw the flower towards the scope.
You may have to get very very close....so close that the bottom of your scope will be sticky and gooey after a while from mashing against some of the trichs :)

i saw the trichs there were only like a couple ambers out of the whole damn thing

I had a hard time using those RS scopes too. But once you got it, you got it.
