I don't understand why this is such a big concern of your's..unless it's because it's just another way to attack Bush and his admin. I think that the Wilson's were working for the Dim's anyhow and that their motives and actions, may have been treasonous in their scope..instead of doing their jobs..they were looking to assist the Dims in attacking Bush. They are part of the anti-American rogue elements in our intelligence community that are willing to commit treason,in order to achieve a political outcome.

the leak of Ms. Wilson's identity is a serious national security breach. There is no reason that the President should wait until someone on his staff is criminally convicted before he clamps down, isolates the leaks, and works to remediate the damage that has been caused. The President's first priority should be to protect the security of this country, not to engage in political damage control.
Instead he and his entourage have done everything they can to cover it up...
Executive Order 12958 reads: If a career civil servant was involved in violating his nondisclosure agreement and leaking classified information, the agency head would be required under the executive order to take prompt corrective action, including issuing a reprimand, suspending the employee's security clearance, or dismissing the employee. There should not be a different standard for Karl Rove, or anyone else involved no matter how elevated their position.
Bush can't make these exec.orders then only apply them to fit his political agenda.
