Yes it is safe. Just because you are ordering the kind of light to grow mj, it does not mean ou are growing it. It is 100% safe. If you are kinda twitchy still about it, you can always buy them on ebay :D which is sometimes much cheaper! Sometimes there are very cheap HID lights for under 80 dollas.

You can always go to a local light shop, and if they dont have what you want they can always order it so you can pick it up 4 days later. Or by lights in a local hydro - gardencentre :p

right now it's hard to say what's safe for mail ordering anything. if i were ordering grow equipment or seeds right now i sure wouldn't have it sent to the grow site and would try to put as many layers as possible between it and the package. damn feds/dea are threatening us all right now with this emery thing, especially those directly involved going back possibly several years. most of you are probably too young to remember "green merchant"...another dea operation aimed directly at growers with much evidence gathered through their visits to grow shops and sales records. it hit 100's of growers and med users around the country. so iow, they have done it before...
just be careful and use common sense.

If you have the balls...Your local commercial electric supply carries everythinf we discussed, just don't make up too elaborate a cover story...I just said it was in my shop when i bought the place and I wanted to rebuild it...in my case, there were no questions asked or odd looks... and I bought a 250w hps for $14.99 there!Quote:

Ye i know what you mean, they gave me lots odd looks. But the next day when i wanted to return something, i just said that i was an electrition and the lights were for a science lab in a school. Now they know me and dont ask anymore :PQuote:
