from what ive read it is way more healtyer than ciggs.

Short Answer: Yes.
Long Answer:
Marijuana smoke has been shown to contain many of the same chemicals that are in tobacco smoke, including many of the same polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and tars. Unlike tobacco smoke, marijuana smoke cannot cause emphysema because it does not obstruct small airways like tobacco smoke.
There has yet to be a reported case of lung cancer as a result of smoking marijuana alone and several studies suggest that lung function is not signficantly impaired in cannabis smokers.
What convinces me most that marijuana smoke is 'safer' than tobacco smoke is the fact that marijuana smoke isn't radioactive. What I mean by this is cigarette smoke is radioactive. Radio-fucking-active. Now im no doctor, but I know well enough that anything radioactive can't be very good for you. Especially if you're inhaling it.
Among the radioactive constituents of tobacco smoke is Polonium 210. This is the only agent of tobacco smoke that has been shown to cause cancer when inhaled in experiments involving cute little lab animals.

This is not to say that marijuana smoke is completely innocent of negatively impacting the health of your lungs. I think it can be said definatively however that it is a hell of a lot safer to inhale smoke that doesn't contain any sort of radioactive components.

I think from what i have read and from what i believe that pot is they are both "bad" for you but pot is just a little less harmful. The way i see it is ok ill say pot is more harsh on your lung but it has extremely lower addictive traits than tobacco. So one is not so harsh but extremely addicting, and one is pretty harsh and basically non-addictive.
Personally id rather be a user of a harsh and non-addictive drug than an addict of a not so harmful drug.
But i smoke weed and cigarettes so fuck it and smoke em if ya got em :D

Weed is much heathier than cigs.
Whenever I smoke bud, it opens my ventricles. I could hit a bowl, and go out biking at optimum level. I am also a 2 pack a day smoker, and I could never light a jack before I go riding my bike or during it. I could stop in the middle of a trail, take a couple of hits of weed, and continue. Don't smoke cigerettes, it's stupid. Ganja can be part of a regimented exercise program, cigs can't.
I'm a clarinettist, and one thing i've noticed in my 12+ years of playing is that when I smoke cigs, I cant hold my breath as long, obviously, and that makes playing long passages really hard. (even if I smoke just one cig in the morning and perform or practice in the evening) But smoking pot really doesnt reduce my lung capacity at all, and I can go a really long time without taking a breath.
You know, I just did a little calculating....I'm 28, been smokin since I was 18, average of 6-7 blunts a day (AVERAGE not counting my first 2 years warmin up...) Anyway, not counting leap years and shit, I've smoked a little over 26,000 blunts.....Is that even an ACRE??And that's my whole smoking career! And I feel FINE...I tried cigarettes and noticed my breath getting shorter in the first TWO WEEKS.....and TELL me about it Mojavpa I play Trombone!!
