today i was reading a newspaper article that was wrote a while back but it said that if tories came into power they would reverse the relaxation of cannabis laws!!!!!!!! They Suck!!

Not a lot of point telling Blair he'll be out long before the next parliamentary election. Vote LibDem. But there is a Politics section this thread might have been better in.

weed will never be legilised in the uk,,,,man smoking fags will be banned in public soon so how the hell we gunna be able to smoke weed in a public way??? medical reasons yeh but not for any old tom dick n harry :P

I am an American. I lived in the UK for two years. My wife is from London. I love weed but I wouldnt vote for a candidate based on one issue alone...even if it is the legalization issue. I am not saying we should vote in the Torreys, the Bush's or anyone else. But if we stand a chance to see weed legal or more legal than it currently is we have to be seen as a thoughtful political force with a developed world view. Not a group of throw back hippies only wanting to be stoned 24-7...
i can see your point, and it was only today that me and a mate were sayin that if the legalize cannabis alliance party ever got into power once they're in power they wud legalize weed(great!) but then they wud have nothin to do and everybody else who doesnt benefit from this would hate them! thats life i suppose, we want a multi purpoused party that does good things as well as legalizing weed! I WISH!!
Erm, 'scuse me, I'm sure I said earlier "vote LibDem". Not only do they want to legalise, they were anti-war from the start, want local income tax instead of community charge, want to be steering european law, want proportional representation instead the current false democracy, and match the Greens on environmental issues.
Don't wish m8, vote.
lets face it britain is bolloxed, libdems seem to be cool but do you know they have at least 2 in their ranks that are convicted sex offenders, i don't wanna piss on anyones fire and i am not racist at all but this country needs a kick up the ass and personally i think theres only one party to vote for.....stay cool

or we should just get every body to vote libdems, they seem reasonable, after recomendation from Hvyfuel i looked on their website and they are concerned for loads of stuff worthwhile and they were opposed to iraq war so i think libdems are good enough for me, but im only 16 so i cant vote, but i will make sure my folks vote libdem!!
