Alright, I came up with a way to hide my weed. I want to know if a drug dog would be able to smell this... I'm doing this at home, so I'm not fooling around with it in my dorm. I have a screw-on airtight lipstick case, and what I planned on doing, was sticking a J or two or three in there, and putting it at the bottom of my noxzema jar. The jar is opague, and noxzema is some pretty smelly shit (used for deep cleaning, if you havent heard of it). Would this work?
The only sure fire way to deferr drug dogs is by vacumm sealing weed then wiping the outsid of the bag off so that there is no weed smell!!!
I'm pretty sure putting it all the way at the bottom of an extremely smelly paste is "vacuum", heh. I dunno, I think it might work.. I've heard of people smuggling stuff across the border by putting the weed (and other drugs) in cases and putting them in oil barrels.

minnies container rapped it in a few bags and put it at the bottom of a peanut butter jar worked like a charm its just really hard to explain why your bringing a jar of peanut butter on a plane but if a dog started smelling it id be like, o the little guys hungry
this will work just fine but i would just put the weed in a zip lock and then tape it up ..repeat this 2 more times [ helps keep the noxema smell out of the weed] then place it in the jar and cover with noxema and the lid.. you can also use a shampoo or conditioner bottle . just pour the contentes in to a paper cup place bagged and taped package of weed in the bottle and replace the shampoo... i have done this many times when traveling on plane and bus and have had the dogs just walk right on by ...good luckQuote:

there where several people busted by the dogs in fla. this spring while bording a ship for a jam band cruise most were busted with vacum sealed bags of weed. ..dogs can not smell through liquid or metal if you have a air toght metal conyainer or a bottle with some type of liquid you can get by them .. the peanut butter trick described above is a good one as well ..espeically for traveling by car .. just pack a picnic lunch basket with bread PB&jelly and chips or whatever so you dont just have a random jar of P B laying on the seatQuote:

I would think that an airtight mason jar would work fine...maybe put some shit in the jar to hide it more.

The best way to go is put it in ground up coffee or vasaline(what my friend uses to smuggle cocaine)
I've heard duct tape, coffee grounds, and dishwasher powder, but I couldn't tell you from experience.
I CAN tell you that we smoked in our dorms all the time. Campus police were called twice. One guy got a paraphernalia ticket (and got kicked out of the dorm). Two guys got tickets that said "smoking marijuana" and had to take some bullshit drug class with a bunch of people who got caught drinking at football games.
How fuckin tight would it be to have your own drug dog? The possibilites are endless!
Hey, remember to wear clean clothes and not to smoke before you hit the checkpoint. The dogs will hit on you even if you just have pot smell on you from smoking in the car. Which could lead to more intensive searching of your stuff.

Number 1.....
Dogs have approx. 10,000,000 more smell receptors on their nose than a human does.
Number 2.....
If a dog smells weed or whatever else he / she is trained to smell, even if it smells like food, the dogs aren't going to act hungry. The dogs will respond in one of two ways...
If it is a cargo dog, it will respond by scratching and scruffing at the source.
If it is a human subject, the dogs are trained to sit on the spot.
If the dog can smell the food, noxema, coffee, vaseline, .....it can also smell the drugs.
Vacuum sealing weed does not work.
Submerging in liquid does not work.
Hiding amongst ground pepper does not work.
Attempting to cover odor with another odor....does not work.
Dogs are primitive animals who have not lost their sense of smell. In fact the only animal alive on our planet will a more keen sense of smell than a dog...is the shark.
Sharks can smell blood 10 miles away under the ocean waters...
DOgs can smell and differentiate odors like no other animal can.
The ONLY way that you can safely hide an odor from a dog is to swallow whatever it is you are hiding, or, carry it around in an air tight lead container...which might itself bring you attention you dont want.
Wanna hide shit from drug dogs?
Wrap it in rubbers or balloons and swallow.... a dangerous game depending on your booty you are carrying as well.
Other than that, you are risking some liberty big time.
A good drug dog is almost impossible to fool.

Another way to get weed past drug sogs, and less painful/dangerous than swallowing would be to drive a large vehicle with 2 gas tanks, and leave one empty and put the drugs in there... seal it up tight and no sniffy sniffy. I know a guy who did it all the time in his truck, and got sniffed once and the dog did not alert.
If a drug dog sniffs you out does that give the cop the right to search you without a warrent?
last winter, i took a plane from Tortolla to purto rico, to boston and i never saw a drug dog just sniffing everyone that walked by.

I'm leaving for 'dam in a week and then depart the netherlands by ship. Haven't traveled outside US since 9/11, will xrays be at the port? Some people post that hash is safe wrapped tight & placed inside shampoo, handcream etc... but I've read the xray machines can scan for different things and organics are one color, metal another etc... what's the real story?

there was an article i read about how good the dogs are at sniffing weed out; a guy put weed in 3 ziplock bags and stuck them in a shampoo bottle, and the dog still detected it.

I??ve known dogs who could smell it through gas tanks (filled with gas.) What fucks people most of the time is residual odor. Itty bitty tinny weeny particles of weed smell (that??s the technical term) get on your hands, on your package, on your steering wheel, door handle, everywhere. Their little doggie noses just sniff that right out.

Their just like people you??re gonna find slacker dogs out there. It speaks more about the handler than it does about the dog. Lot??s of things factor in.
These dogs are VERY expensive. And most of them are not chumps. So I would try and find another way.
Things like food, trash, and harsh smells automatically draw the attention of the handler (if their any good.)
And make sure your dealing with a drug dog and not a bomb dog before you start giving up your goods (which is highly likely in an airport situation).

True, you would have better luck domestically than internationally. Domestically their more worried about shoe bombers than they are about J bombers. Even then I would never put anything in my luggage. X-ray machines, dogs, wild parties, who knows what their doing with your stuff back there?

Do people stick a ¼ under their nut sack and fly everyday, yep they do. People also get busted everyday. Not worth it IMO.
for the ppl making suggestions on how to travel with it, have you actually done this before and it works? im not making suggestions cause i doubt i would know how to get away with it.
My friend flys to where I'm at once and a while and all he does is tape it to his nuts but I think they only have bomb dogs so he has nothing to worry about. I wouldnt risk it though.

Laws may vary from state to state on specifics I??m not sure. But in every State that I??ve been in they have to have probable cause before they search your vehicle. They can??t just pull you out of the car and force you to open your trunk (they can search your person and immediate area for safety reasons.) They have to have a reason to believe a crime has been/is being committed. If a dog alerts on your trunk than that gives them the right to search your trunk. Their noses will hold up in court.
I suppose if they wanted to be extra careful they could use the dog to get a warrant form a judge.....but it seems a bit overkill and unnecessary.
in one word no. drug dogs are trained to smell very very small amounts of mary conceled and hidden in things somewhat like you're talking about.
