I'm thinking bout trying it... but i'm don't want one of those scary ass balls to the walls trip that makes people think they are living 20 years of their life in 15 minutes, or something else crazy like that... would taking a small dose of 5x garentee me a good trip experience but not a completely frightening one?

5x wont give you nothing but a headache if your really worried about a bad trip i wouldnt smoke it at all but if your grow a pair of balls go for 10x it wont make you go crazy but i would smoke it in a bong with a torch lighter. maybe you should get some saliva leaf

and is music a good thing for slavia, i know it helps shroom and acid trips, what about salvia (assuming your not so f-ed up u can hear..)

on salvia u dont really know what the hell is going on... i had a song on that i listin to all the time and i didnt even know what the hell i was hearing.
salvia is not for the weak hearted, if ur having secong thoughts or "worried" about a bad trip i wouldnt do it at all.
first time i tripped on salvia it was 10x, i had depeche mode playing, and once i smoked it i was just transported somewhere else..the music wasnt music it was random sounds. i thought i was in a factory on a conveyor belt, and there were robots all around coming for me, and i started running but the conveyor belt would just speed up so i wouldnt go anywhere. then i fell through the clouds and just started laughing hysterically, i couldnt control it and i had no idea why i was laughing. i wouldnt say i had a bad trip, i thought it was pretty awesome actually lol. but the thing is with salvia you dont know your tripping, you think its all real, and you actually get up and move and react to things you think are there but really arent there. thats why people tell you to have a sitter, i didnt but its not a bad idea to have one. i did lock my door before i smoked though and put away any dangerous objects. that way i didnt do anything to crazy. also salvia doesnt last long at all when you smoke it, like 10 or 15 minutes tops. i actually prefer the quid method i think, which you need dry leaves for. it lasts longer and you can think clearer and its just a mellower trip. i like to meditate when i do the quid method, very spiritual.
i tried salvia now, it was 5x and it was a pretty small dose (1/9 about of a gram) and i deff got some effects but it wasn't the realm that i know salvia can bring me into. It was just like a highish feel with some closed eye visuals... i didn't use a butane lighter tho, how crucial is it that you use a butate??? i also hear u have to consume your dose within 2 minutes, which i found hard to do since you have to hold it for so long. It was nearly impossible with a bowl, do i just have to take bigger hits at a time? (like bong rips, and if i use a bong should i hit it dry or can i use water?)
and can 5x get me to a place where i can begin to feel as though i'm totally in my head, but still aware of my sourroundings (so i don't freak), or will 5x never reach a hallucigenic state?

aight thanks man, that what i was leaning towards. What would ya reccomend for a dose on 10x to make it more intense but not insanly freaky.( i want to be at least somewhat aware of where i am and stuff)

if you get the extract just hold a regular ligher on it--cooking it--while inhaling.
How much of what should first timer smoke? Like .5g 10x??
if you wanna be in for a big suprise, rip some 15x. that's what i did the first time and I went a little nutty. went through walls and shit.

what the best way to smoke an extract (like 10x). bong with or w/ out water, bowl...?
water will help cool it down and allow you to take more in. the key though is to hold the rip in as long as you can.
after 30 seconds does it make a difference? i can get to about 30 every time but no more.
the coolest thing is the voice the deep monotone voice you get.... i love it
