What kinda non-prescription drugs will give you a high or a trip with out doing major damage to your brain?
Ive heard alot about DXM on this forum but I have no idea what it is any one care to elaborate?
Oh and what was your experience with the drug?
DXM is what is found in cough syrup, it's a prescription drug that might do damage.
But if you're looking to keep natural highs, like myself, try and get some "Salvia". It is 100% legal, here in Canada anyways, and feels like a mild mushroom trip for about 20min. You smoke it, and it can be found at most headshops. Here though(Canada), I just saw a news report and Salvia is being discovered now as a "dangerous drug" and now the police are getting word on it, so hurry, it may not be available for much longer.
Magic Mushrooms are all good too. They are 100% harmless is taken in moderation. One of my old buddies g/f did a report on Magic Shrooms in college for some science class, and everything she found about them, their long term and short term effects, proved to be harmless and do little to no damage.
I'd suggest Ayahuasca but you're just asking for trouble.
I've heard nutmeg too, but I've never tried it, nor do I want to. Ask some of the youngens here about it, I know nothing about it, they have experience with it.
And weed of course...good stuff :D
salvia is nothing like a mild mushroom trip, maybe at lower doses but if you take good hits and do it properly with extract you will be catapulted into another world. i would not reccomend doing mushrooms or salvia except at low doses (to start and get used to) if you have not used many psychedelics/disassociatives before.Quote:

Coricidin has been shown to cause liver damage, brain damage, and death when used recreationally. DON'T use Core. It is really, really, really bad for you, and can fuck you over. Please, if you have to trip on DXM, at least use something that is safe.Quote:

first of all 20X salvia is stonger then any shrooms out there if it is property used (in a bong with a torch lighter) salvia will sky rocket you into a differnt world and it has no adverse side effects

At 9 PM I drank a 4 oz thing of robotussing = to 354 mg of DXM. At first I was fine for 1/2 a hour I just felt like I had taken two shots. Then after a hour it felt like 4 shots and I still knew who/where I was. After about 15 min more I went and hit up a bowl and after my second hit that when I KNEW I was tripping. I manage to make it back to the comp and thats when I lost touch with reality. Somehow music started playin (I think it was my comp) and every different song sent me to like a warp hall way with amazing colors and blurs. After about 2 hours of coming in and out of reality comtimplating where I was and what was going on I managed to stay the real me. Then for some crazy reason I didnt need to breath. I could stop breathing for as long as I liked and it would bring me to a different places where my comp screen a hologram and my room was gone. I tryed telling my friends what was going on (kinda like a virtual baby sitter) but I typed like a retard. By 12 that night I was back in the real reality but I couldnt focus my eyes and I could barely walk cause I felt 10000 lbs. Oh and through this whole time my heart was pounding ultra fast! (I also took 4 cold pills with 4 dxm and some other stuff in em)
Isnt that a small amound of DXM to trip on? And was my experience like any of yours?

I usually trip pretty well with 300 mg dxm and I'm 150 search for dxm calculator on the internet and it'll tell you how much dxm you need to get to each of the 4 plateus I myself have never been higher than the second (nor do I want to go any higher)
