I've found the key to happiness

I may be rather stoned at the moment, but for the first time I can actually think relatively clearly while high. however, even when not stoned, these past few days I've realized how to live and eliminate all discontentment.

1. after going on a several day weed-smoking marathon, I've finally developed a decent resistance and now it gets me high but doesn't "smother" my brain at all any more, just makes me see the beauty in life.

2. and that is the second thing. I've stopped wasting my time watching t.v., playing xbox, and being on the computer all day. I get back to nature, whether it be the woods or the beach, and spend far much more time in nature, appreciating it and being at peace. I've realized that we have to be at peace, to stop worrying about greed and your ego, to stop trying to derive happiness through indulgences that induce physical pleasure, like candy and junk food and such. I love everybody equally and dont' hate anybody anymore, merely see those we think of as assholes as somebody trapped in their own ignorance. I just started thinking of the rastafarian way of living, then thought about the buddhist way of living, and it seems all so clear. to just be your TRUE self, at peace, accepting of all, released from the artificial customs and thinking of society, and loving your fellow people, being at peace with the natural and peace.

wow, actually I think I'm pretty damned stoned right now. but regardless, as hippie-ish as this may all sound in my stoned ravings, I'm convinced this is the true way to live and achieve true fulfillment.

oh yeah, and by all means share this life-style with friends, rather than sitting around playing playstation or something.,

its so true man. if you just take hold of life and see the beauty and not take it for granted you can be pretty content

mrdevious, don't know who you are but youv'e wrote exactly how I've been feeling.
I'm 39 female and I had a lots of issues with my father since I could remembrer. Well i decided to forgive him because it was costing me so much of energy to hold on to that hate. Now I even feel sorry for him because I know he must hated being a bad father. But the sircumstences made him behave like an ass hole to me. I think i was his punch bag for my mother. You can hurt someone physically without hitting but hurting the person they love. I now feel i even want to find out more about him and see what was his demon. I'm stoned now but somehow what mrdevious wrote and i wrote makes sense to me, hope i understand myself tomorrow

i think we all have those moments of clarity dude .. ive deff had my share . maybe one day one of em will stick ..untill then i will just keep smoking more weed till i get it right ..

i love going to the beach, this summer im going to have a lot of fun but also get a job and do the work i need to do to progress my life. i think i've 2 many run-ins with the cops so far this summer.

I feel the same way sometimes.But that feeling seems to leave when I'm sober....

Once I felt like that turned out I was having a psycotic episode then my ego got crusified after

wow, I'm actaully surprised/glad that so many other people know what I'm talking about. but, I've actaully managed to hold onto this lifestyle between being high, being high just enhances it. I think after spending 4 strait days high most of the time, I got used to always being that way of possitive and clear thinking, so I realized I was going to hold on to it.

what you said is how i feel all of the time. infact have devoted my life to nature and its conservation. im am very pleased that so many people seem appreciative of our beutiful planet, please do all you can do to keep it from becoming ruined, because right now the environment is being raped. next time you smoke a bowl, just think of something you can do to help preserve nature a little bit, if everyone pitches in we can make a difference. peace

I wonder if this positive thinking is related to age. I'm a mom with 3 kids under 9 yrs. When I get high after the kids are ready for bed, my whole world slows down so I can enjoy. As soon as my eyes open in the mornings, I have sensory over load from kids wanting this and that, plus there is always 2 kids talking at the same time. I would smoke all day but I don't want to impaire my ability to take care of my kids. But I would say this few times I was high (with another grown up who is not high) I was a happy mother who didn't mind playing with the kids instead of just watching them. I can't wait till tonight. Last night was so beautiful in Charlotte NC. I could feel the breeze on my skin with sounds of cricket singing, wow I haven't been in touch with nature and my inner self so long it was beautiful.

While you might be right on a lot of things, doesn't this sentence strike you as being a bit wrong? I mean, you're stoned and you're writing this, then logically you should stop smoking too, no?

35 year old mom of 2 here, so I can totally relate. Once the kids are wound down for the night, I SO enjoy a few puffs. Just relaxes me, and washes away the stress of the day. Additionally, I would also smoke all day, but don't due to having small kids around. I agree that if you have just a few puffs, and go play with the kids, you have a blast. It's great to see the world through their eyes, forget about all the grown-up crap going on in the world, and just have FUN! I played in the sprinkler with my kids yesterday, and we had a blast! :D

there is no key to happiness unless thekey to roberts pants is forst unveiled.

way to happinness for me= always try to be a better person, and for me a way to be happy is to make the ppl u know happy. and also just enjoy all the small good moments u have, like smokin a joint on a beach, or just being with a nice girl. the secret of happinness is so simple but seems so complicated. actually, i guess it can be both. anyway lol im stoned.

Not really, physical pleasure referres to junk food, candy, people who are addicted to wackin off to porn all day lol. being stoned is about creating a state of mind, not indulging in chocolate and ice cream every time you feel down. (though when I'm high ice cream and chocolate are pretty damn good, always indulge the munchies!).

EDIT: upon reading my original post, I think I was tad bit too blazed. but hey, it all still works.
