Question for Zandor or anyone that cares

Hey Zandor. am going to buy a hydroponic system to replace my home made one this week was wondering what your opinion was on the type of system that is better. I am going to buy the EcoGrower by general hydroponics or the Aero Machine 6 plant site. Which one grows plants faster? and has better results? I am getting Either Vita Grow anti wilt or Keep precious water In No wilt cloning wax 1 pint 12.95 or vita grow 4oz bottle 9.95. What would you get? are there any other growth supplements you would highly recommend to go with my three part general hydro flora series nutes micro grow bloom I also have diamond nectar..what else should i get to speed things along...and get great results? Liquid Karma/hydrogaurd/blast off/clearex/calmag plus/silica blast/nitrozime/VitaMaxplus/hydrozyme/Sm90/ Superthrive/....there are so many dam suppliments out there which ones do I or should I absolutely need???? Oh and thanks for the help!!!!!!

how did u make your system? can u take pics? can u draw it out?

I used this system design without using 2 liter bottles ..I used three in sched 40 pvc instead..I tapered them down using flanges to fit into 1 inch threaded elbows and 90's......Check out rons11plant garden and you will see my hydrosetup with 12 inch peices of 3 in sched 40 pvc instead of his 2liter bottles....used as planters 3 inch netpots fit perfectly into 3 inch pvc..I kept burning the plants because i think the 12 inch airstone in the holding tank wasn't doing any good the air wasn't going to the individual planters when they where flooded I bet it would work better if I had an airstone in each planter..Goto this website and click on 11 plant garden it offers design.

I am getting a hydrosystem called AeroMachine 6 plant..utilizes a 360 deg. microjet spinner to deliver a highly oxygenated mist of nutrient solution to the bare roots of the plants..Unit includes pump,rootguard lids,and hydrogaurd. Hope I have better luck with this machine....I am also going to gradually add nutrient strength as I go starting with young plants at 25 % the recommended strength the first two weeks then go to 40 % recommeded srength...any suggeestions on how much to start them on?????

how long and how many times a day were you flooding the system?

I was flooding for15 min on it only took 4 min to fill planters,,,then 45 off..all day untill 6:00 pm It went to 15 on 2 hrs off ..Allthough in the beggining i was flooding 15 on 15 off all day and night untill I saw leaf burn..then started cutting it back. I think it was to late though pllants never seemed to fully regain themselves...thats when i decided to either buy a systyem or build another kind of system...I now have decided to build a simple drip system...With a 8 piont drip head with 1/4 inch drip line to each netpot ontop of my reserve so all dripping nutes go right back into reserve tank....I can asdjust timer easier with room for error....And J/B waterweld two bubble wands onto the bottom of reserve tank...Roots I think will be alot happier.... Any other sugg... would be appreciated???? Thanks for asking

I was flooding mine like every 2 hours for 15 minutes and found this was too much.
then I switched to flooding only 3 times a day and it worked great.

Ebb & Flow is something that will vary with each strain you grow too. Keep notes for next time. Track the parents of the strains and add that to your notes. It may help you on your next strain.

try using your ferts at half strength too
