I cant get high

Ok this may sound completly stupid, but i can't get high. I just started smoking weed and i have smoked pipes, bongs, joints, everything, and felt nothing. I know i am inhaling right and it has all been good weed. I have smoked weed five or six times. The last time i smoked 2 joints and 3 bowls in about 4 hours, still didnt feel anything. Is it possible to be ammune to weed? While i can't seem to get high from smoking it, i can get high from eating it. Kinda weird if you ask me. Can someone help me? :confused:

Take a really really long toke hold it in for ages and then let go, maybe you ain't using enough weed.

different people get different highs from stuff.it just depends how you are and how your body reacts to it.i duno..basically you should just try holding it in for as long you can then exhale..see how that works if not then i duno.maybe your smoking something else and not weed :confused:

damn, sucks to be you. I also didn't feel anything for the first two times I smoked. Then Bam! Third times a charm I guess :D

It's so weird, the first few times i did it I would take five or six hits and everything would seem exactly the same, the only changes are ones I made myself see cause I assumed I'd be high. Now, if I even take one hit I can feel the small changes that take place.

Like you guys say, mabey i just havent smoked enough. Im gettin some tommrow so i guess i'll see what happens then.

I can tell you this from experience, you're not inhailing it right. I toked for about 6-10 times before I ever got high, and when I did, well the cops brought me down but that's a different story...

Anyways, you should use a gravity bong, that will surly get you high, it is made to make you take in a HUGE hit with lots of air, try to breathe out most of your oxygen before you take a hit. Keep trying, I had the same problem, I watched my friends smoke cancer sticks, I told myself I should suck that bong rip down into my lungs... That night was my first time getting high :D

that sucks ass id hate not to get high :) it only takes me half a joint to make me feel the changes then one spliff of good skunk will fuck me up:) guess im kinda lucky dont spend as much money ;)

This is interesting, my brother in law told me the same exact thing ! Well needless to say that when I rolled at his house he got high lol !

Seriously, theres a lot of chance you dont inhale correctly, thats sounds stupid but its really not, I remember back in the days I started my friend was a real pothead and I was the noob, being a cigarette free guy I never learned to "smoke". You have to swallow the smoke and keep it for 4-5 seconds, more than 8 seconds is just destroying your lungs etc.. It takes between 2-8 seconds for the body to absorb the THC. If all fails, roll a 2 papers or a blunt :)

if i were you i would try smoking some shwag or middies. my freind had the same problem, but i got some shwag, just to see, and BAM. it worked. now he can smoke the good shit. if i was ur freinds i wouldnt waste good buds on u if u didnt even get high. try shwag. its worth a shot dude

I have a high tolerance, too. It takes alot more for me than for anyone else I know. I grow my own, so I just get the seeds for the strains with the highest THC content.
Indica strains, hash plants work the best.

You're missing out on the best feelin ever. Dude, when you get high you will feel it. I got super blowed my first time. I had a good teacher. She gave me the greens, I cherried and then I chilled. It was an amazing experience. Just remember to hold keep it in your lungs for about 6 seconds.Then exhale. Sometmes I exhale into my shirt then I suck it up again and hold for another 6 seconds.
It only takes me two hits of something halfway decent to fell how I want. Maybe one half of a blunt to feel super fucked up.

Try to hold it in your lungs longer, also it might be the type of weed you are using. Some people get better results from California Skunk or Northern Lights. Do you grow your own or are you getting it off the street?

most people dont get high when they first start. it took me about 8 times spread out over a period of time and then finally one day BAM and it was amazing. when i first started i remembered thinking how gay it was and that i didnt see what the big deal was but the first time i completely understood it. my advice to you is to just keep smoking and it'll happen eventually

I didn't get high for quite some time after starting to use cannabis.It wasn't that I wasn't smoking it right and the weed was good weed too.
The brain has cannabis receptors in it.I'm thinking not everyone that begins using weed at first may get these receptors up and running.It may take 1x 2x 3x or more differing from person to person.
When I finally did get high the first time I remember looking over at my friend,we were watching 'once upon a time in the west' and I must have had this chit eatin grin on my face because he looked back at me and smiled really big and said..."finally huh" and we just both cracked up.
Hey if you don't get high smoking cannabis don't worry about it.Just remember you can still go to jail for it whether you get high or not.

:D dude all you have to do is just stop smoking weed for a month maybe 2. And get plenty of exersise. when you smoke after that break it will feel like you are smoking for the first time. Trust me, been ther, done that, works fine. :D :cool:
