[COLOR=Magenta] Anyone know how to get the music out of my computer and into this god forsakin mp3 player....Uhhhhg! From a brief glace (aka I could be wrong) at a few websites it appears you need software. If I knew the model number I could tell you for sure.

No no no, don't format (verb) the music, I want to know the format (noun) the music is in. In other words, what is the 3 character file extension. The mp3 player will probobly only play mp3's and wma's.

What are the names of the files? NOT the names of the songs, the names of the FILES. if they're something like SONG123.MP3, that is the correct format. If they're anything else, like SONG123.CDA, you need a format converter. Many are free.
Specifically, we need to know the extension - the three (or sometimes four) lets after the "." in the filename, such as MP3, WMV, CDA or whatever.
