my plants like a month n 2 weeks old now, some of the biggest leaves r wilted, i was wanderin if i could vut the big leaves off, an wot effect would it have on the plant? also, i read somewere on here bout usin shampoo as a insecticide? can anyone explain, thanks
some pics would be helpfull, but what do you mean by wilted? are they droopy, green, yellow, shrivled, spotted, ect.
i would not remove any leaves unless they are dead and will pull off with a slight yank. removeing the healthy leaves will harm your plant because that's what the plant uses to produce energy to grow.
be shure that you have a bug problem before useing a soap mixture or insecticide. dish soap and water can be used.

ok ill tell u all the problems, about 6 leaves have been eaten at, one leaf has got like a bigish white spot and ones folded n lookin old n shitty, ill post the best pics i can. i grow inside but wen its hot i leave her in the garden

Hmmm, did you give it 12/12 schedule of darkness and light? Because if its as old as you say, you should have some buds on there man...I think you might have made a mistake, but I'm still a little inexperienced, so thats just my 2 cents in.

i think it may need a bigger pot to stop the droopyness. do you see any roots coming out of the bottom of the pot? or it could be overwatering. do you let the soil get nice and dry before you water? as for the bugs, i would go and buy some insecticidle soap for fruits and veggies at wal-mart or whatever. i am not shure of the exact measurements for the home made solution, but it's probably like about a drop or two of soap in a liter or two of water.....something really dieluted(sp). some neem oil would do the trick as well.
BTW, if you don't have any grow lights i would leave it outside all the time unless there's a huge storm. it will start to flower soon and will need to be outside.
Sorry guys, for bud to grow you HAVE to start the 12/12 cycle. If you keep growing your plants in 20/4 or 24/7 light, you will only get flowering. I did that with my indica and now she's a monster, she's thicker then most of the indicas I have seen on the net... Once I get my cd back from the photoshop that my sis works in, I'll be sure to post the pics. My suggestion to you dylan, is to make a new batch of soil, mix up a good batch and your leafs should be growing strong along with the stock.
hey joel maybe you are not looking at the names on this thread, but i did not ask a question. my plants are fine; i was makeing a suggestion for mercifulstonerasta. fyi, many plants will flower with 14 hrs of light a day.
Ya man, get that shit inside, get a 250watt or 400watt, and do 12 hours of light, and 12 hours of darkness continuous until you get some buds(flowers) forming, otherwise your growing for all the wrong reasons. Its the buds that are most potent, not the leafs.
And dont forget to have a fan on it for good ventilation. They produce toxins at the leafs, and needs a draft to release them, that could be your problem if you havent been using any fanning on it, or w/e.
Merci the plant lookes fine if it does have bugs they are from putting it outside. I use tomato plant bug killer on mine and so far so good. I just spray some on the infected leaf and the soil but I have seen the dish soap or baby shampoo many times as well just a drop in a small spray bottle should do the trick and personally I would bring it inside under HPS MH or Flours your choice all work, some better then others! -Good luck
yo, i said this on other threads so much, i got the seeds from gambia, i been growin there naturally, no lights and it was kick ass, all these fuckin people sayin i have to have lights an it wont grow buds if i dont do 12/12 it was fine there, so y not here, it just takes longer. if u seen my thread on ganja island then can someone explain this, hoow do they grow fields and fields of bud in a field!!!!! do they come out at night n put a sheet over every plant? . . . no they dont, so to the person thatsed it wont grow buds, fuck off! u just stick to ur fake ass ways of growin, ill stay natural, thanks to everyone else for the help n positve feedback
so can i cutt the big fan leaf off or not, the one thats got the white patches on?
