Of course you can live off eating nothing but weed for a week, assuming you also drink sufficient water. You can live without eating anything for two to three months, on average. It wouldn't be a very healthy diet for the long term, though.
buddhist monks have lived off of the seeds for long periods for cleansing purposes. the seeds have a special amino acid that we need but apparently isn't in the quantity that seeds have and also is a high protein food. the oil in the seed is also very healthy and loaded with the 'good' collesterall...
You could live off NOTHING but water for more than 2 weeks. So yeah, the weed might help a little, but probably not much.
and you'd have such an empty stomach after a while, that you would get fucked up from eating just a little....
if i ate as much weed as i ate food i think i would be the first person who EVER over dosed on weed
I tried it once..It was on monday to be in fact. I was thinking I needed to go on a spiritual journey with just mary jane and I. But unfortunally it didn't work. I got the mad munchies, and when I get munchies, salads just don't cut it for me. I used to be able to hold off on the munchies, and not eat until I woke up the next morning. But then I had a baby, got baby fat,and now it's hard to just not have the munchies..but I'll experiment again. And then maybe i'll let you know the results...;)I don't mind being a genie pig when it comes to that stuff. ;)
2-3 months? Are you sure Beeble? I think your body starts to eat you heart tissue after 3 weeks or so. I read an article in scientific american and it said that even with very small quanties of food people can survive for years, its adaptation. But with no food at all few people could last longer than a month.
From here:
So, looks like about 2 months is the ceiling. Another factor not mentioned is activity level. Presumably one could live even longer with a severely reduced level of activity. Obviously someone who sits on the couch watching TV is going to use fewer Calories than someone who runs marathons.Quote:
Without food, you can last around 60 days if you are a healthy adult with at least 11kg of fat in your body. It all depends on how much body fat you had in the first place. No human being can survive if he loses more than 40% of his body mass.
If you had more fat to begin with, you might possibly survive longer, though not by much.
