hmm.. need some advice.

one week ago I paid one of my "friends" to go buy me some shrooms. I gave him $80 for 3 8ths, giving him $20 extra cause he said he needed gas money, i was like whatever as long as i get my shit.
Then, while he was on the way back to give them to me, he got arrested. Learned this from a friend who was with him who went into the Gas station to get a drink and came out seeing him handcuffed on the hood of his car. The guy who was getting them for me has avoided me since, and I have no idea what to do. Whats the proper ettiquet (horrible sp) on asking for my money back? $80 to me is quite alot at the moment and I need money.

the proper method of getting your money back is to pay him a visit with a baseball bat and kindly remind him of exactly how important the ability to walk is. if he's avoiding you deliberately....i say he deserves a couple of busted knee caps.

If you think your freind May be telling porky pies (lies). about getting done.
ask Him to show you the Charge sheet.
If he cannot produce his Charge sheet then he is more than likley Lying to you and kept the shrooms for himself..

But If he does show you the Paper that says he was charged with possesion/blah blah.
then deffenetly appolagise and dont ask for your cash Back..

but what if he got arrested because he used the guy's money to buy meth or something and got caught with it??? huh?? there's only 12,000,000 different scenarios here.

Yeah, the thing is, shrooms wouldnt be the only thing this guy would of gotten charged with, thats for sure.
and there is NO way I would be in the fetal position, as I am twice the size of him.
I am actually 90% sure this is all a bunch of fucking lies, it is just a matter of time before I see him again

If he did get busted, then you got off cheap by just losing some money. Hey, care to trade positions with him?

It's even in the Emily Post Book of Etiquette: "If someone offers to go buy drugs for you and gets busted, you lose your original money. It is proper etiquette, however, to request a refund after you go down and bail his ass out."

If he was just ripping you off, then kidnap his dog and hold it for ransome.
