migrane!!

do you know of a cure (except smoking)? i am having this splitting headache all day long and i've been having it for at least the last week

there were other occasions where i suffered from migranes and i know i am susceptible to them, my family is also...

i would think a doctor would be someone to ask about that kind of thing rather than a bunch of good intentioned stoners

i've heard that eating goat testicles and drinking dog's blood cure migranes.

If you get Migraines so often you should see ur docter he/she could give you Imatrex. I used Imatrex and it realli works for migraine headaches and constant throwing up. I know Migraines suck, but u realli shouldent smoke weed with one.

Also, do you know why you and ur family get migraines? Red heads usally are the the ones who suffer from migraine headaches and also if you have lime dieses (like I did) thent hat could be another problem.

my dad has the most migranes, and no we're not redheads lol

anyway, could it be the extreme heat we are having right now and also the humidity?

i usually try to sleep it off, it works a little but not enough and i waste time

See a massage therapist, not a massuese, a registered massage therapist, and get him/her to do some neck and shoulder work. headaches and migraines are part of their buisness.

Go get some headphones, plug them into your cd player or computer, turn the volume ALL THE WAY UP and chill there for acouple hours. You're migrain shold be cleared up in a jiffy!

several docs have told me in not so many words "dark & quiet place best enviroment to stop one",or if you feel one starting to hurt the place to retreat to B4 it gets cranked out

migraines are serious shit,could be sign of worse things,SEE A DOC hell it could be something simple cuasing them,sinus problem a pill will cure up,
sinus problems have kicked more than a few to life in my head,bad ones that lasted days and days,A cool wet washcloth on my forehead helped sometimes ,i guess it let me focus on it and not the frigging pounding behind my eyes ,

Okay, well, one time in about 8th grade (Senior now) I went to Holiday World for the first time with a friend and his family. His mom is a registered nurse. Me and him had been riding the wooden rides all day long and I got a severe SEVERE migraine. I couldn't open my eyes, literally, because the light hurt so much. And I plugged my ears because just talking to me made my brain want to bust.

She gave me a couple Excedrin Migraine's and told me to drink the Coca-Cola she gave me really fast. Excedrin Migraine mixes aceteminophen with another pain reliever with some caffeine. Plus the caffeine in the coke. She said that the caffeine really helps get the pain relievers working faster so the relief sets in more. It really did, too. It took about 20 minutes, but I was able to open my eyes again.
Try that before asking a doctor. If that doesn't work, see a doctor. =)

most people end up using pot as a relaxant and when they are withdrawing they get really tense and sometimes have really bad headaches, mostly they are what a doctor would describe as a tension headache. when i quit dope for a while my doctor prescribed me a skeletal muscle relaxant called cycloabenzaprine also known as flexiril, but if you take an over the counter muscle relaxant like robax or something it might help

There is no cure. Belive me, i have had them since i was 12 and nothing works. I have been on every sort of pill. I even had a cat scan and nothing. Just got to bear it!
