Luc and me are over...

About an hour ago i found out he might be moving away because his mom wants to relocate after divorcing his dad. Then he said long distance relationshi[ps arent going to work with him. And said he felt we were drifting apart, he said we hardly talk about things...he said things between us are diffrent than they were 8 months ago...Im so alone now. I dont have many friends...and i just cant fucking take it!!! At least he loves me....maybe not in a romantic way anymore...

We were on msn messanger when we broke up.... :( *crys* i knew sumthing was wrong and I cant help but wonder if i could have done sumthing to make us stronger....and to make him happier...i kno i'll move on but i dont want too. Its because Luc i got over Beth.............all that work all those dreams...all gone. And now im all alone.

Your not alone, it just feels like it. I'm sorry your hurt, he sucks for that. Anything you need?

there there we all have bad moments i usually try to get all the anger out by fighting, but i just get injured....a fat joint might help ease the pain temporarily. well anyways hope you feel better.

i read this thread and it made me realize that the people om this site are some of the greatest humans in the world the compassion has made me change my view on the human race i always though that we were doomed but this has made me see that we are capable of love that can save us all

I myself just went through a break up. Things are getting better, and like Felon said, time heals all wounds.

I find after going through rough times there is always something to be learned from it and although they appear bad at the time youll look back on it as an experience that was neccessary in becoming who you are. If we had everything go our way in life then we would be ignorant and clueless of the real world. Don't worry about this guy, if you were able to pick up a guy originally then chances are you are going to find another one equally as good if not better.

Lily, it will be OK. You're still so young....take a deep breath and think about it....could you honestly have a long distance relationship with Luc? I mean, yes, maybe an online relationship, but, nothing more. At your age you should be hanging out with ppl and having fun, not hovering over your computer, messaging a boy whose moved away. I know you love him, but take some time and think about yourself for a minute. You need to get your head on straight about school. A new relationship will come along eventually.

Don't be in any hurry to get tied down again, enjoy your youth!! Now, go outside and get some sunshine, girl. ;)

Sorry to hear that...break ups suck. One thing he was right about is that long distance relationships nerver last (or rarely last.) I'm sure he doesn't feel good about this either but he should have done that shit in person. Sorry you're having a tough time with it...only time will make it better....trust me Ive got this break up thing down pat and I still can't decide which is worse being the one broken up with or the one doing the breaking up... they both suck...I'm sure the last thing he wanted to do was hurt you.

hey lil i know it dont seem like it now but time can do amazing things for this type of problem if you can try and stay busy or take an extra shift or 2 at work it' will help keep your mind off your bad feelings and remember if this is the hardest thing you have to deal with in your life consider your self fortunate.. good luck and im sure every one here wish's you the best

......at times like this the last thing you need is a surplus of freetime. You've got
to redirect all of that energy into something else. He'll probably be on your mind
every waking moment for a bit, but that's normal and it'll pass.

Do stuff that makes you feel good about you, join a club, take up a new sport,
volunteer at your local animal shelter........something/anything - just don't sit
around and waste your summer, that won't accomplish anything except make
you feel worse.

We've all been there, unfortunately - the flipside of love.....no ones escapes it :(

Sorry to hear about your break up. Like everyone says though, give it some time and you'll start feeling better. When I was 17 I had been seeing the same girl for two years. We really thought that we were perfect together and it would last forever. Then my Dad got a new job and we moved from Florida all the way to California. It was like my whole world had ended. We tried the long distance thing but it just didn't work out.

It was really terrible at first, I was so miserable but gradually things got better. In the years that followed I went through other girlfriends and other breakups. They're all bad. But you know what, 9 years ago I met an incredible woman who I married and two years ago we had a wonderful little girl. I honestly couldn't be happier and the happiness I feel now is far greater than the pain I felt way back when. So hang in there Lily, just remember your happiness is on its way too.

Agree with Lulu, mjm, fengzi, & others. I'm sorry it's happening to you, because I know that feeling, & it's awful. I had started to forget just how much it hurt to lose my first love, til it just happened to my teen cousin who's visiting. Seeing it so up close brought back some powerful memories, so in trying to comfort her I was weeping too. A nice sight, lol.

Seriously, it's sort of like a trial by fire that one goes through in the process of emotional maturity. The fact that you're feeling it so deeply is actually a good thing, imho... it signifies that you're a person who loves a little more, feels a little more, than some of the people who go through life half-assed. Welcome to the club! :) Embrace that part of yourself & nurture it, because it just means that when you find true happiness, it will be so rich & beautiful... you'll be in awe of life, & stronger for all you've experienced. This is from one who knows both ends of that spectrum.

Take this time to comfort yourself, scream if you need to, just let your emotions out. And begin to learn that you must be in love with yourself & find your happiness & your own completion within yourself. You don't need another person to make you whole or happy... you are a beautiful, amazing, complete person all on your own. Meditate on it, tell it to yourself, whatever you need. When you fully realize that concept, the most amazing things will happen for you.

well i feel hes made a big mistake...and even tho we arent together doesent mean we cant hang out and stuff. Perhaps we'd enjoy eachother complany more if it wasent all about stress and sex........i dont kno if that makes sence but yeah....And if he dident make a mistake then it was for a reason. My mom said she was surpised how well im taking it....i cry once in awhile but that'll stop soon...i hope... Its sad for me....because i used to be real popular at school and i started to ignore evryone just a bit for hanging out with Luc...and everyone kinda pushed me away for it...so it was just me and Luc...now its just me.... :( Life sux....

Yeah, it's tempting to ditch everyone and anyone in order to spend every
available second in his company - but you need girlfriends, every girl does. I've
been really lucky and had the same two bestfriends for 30years, since i was a
kid. I tell ya I need them now as much as I did back then. Things will work out,

I went out today to meet sum new people but no luck....im very quiet and shy if i dont kno you...I had 5 guys come up to me and i just couldent have a conversation...i felt like I was doing sumthing wrong like as if looking at another male was bad...i just couldent do it!!! :mad:
I think i have anger problems....
