I'm new to the area as well...Someone help us out. Hit me up at [email protected]
LOL I'm beginning to think that these want ads are just to see the desperate people hoping somebody will help them out & yet.... nobody does. Am I wrong? I mean, I can totally understand. I would be very wary of talking to just anyone if I were a supplier. Hell, that's why I'm here now. :-) Not new to the DFW area but don't have any connections & not the type of person to just walk up to someone in a club or whatever. One guy (ex-"bf" of sorts) & I had a falling out about 3 mths ago & shortly thereafter I hooked up with a friend's brother. He's cool, but it never hurts to know more than one, ya' know? So if anyone's willing to help.... [email protected]
well, I live in dfw, but I don't exactly think meeting someone over the internet and selling them weed is a good or safe idea, especially someone with only 1 post. not that I am a dealer, because I'm not. Right now is a strange time in the area though,(at least my suburb), becasue kind(and expensive bud) is everywhere, but mid range(affordable decent smoke) is hard to find. anyway, I forgot my point. But if you want to get a hookup from the board I would get to know some people first, then maybe meet someewhere non weed related(like a bar, club, coffeeshop, whatever) and actually become their friend and then get hooked up. I guess that takes too long and there's not many people who would go meet a stranger they met over the net, I don't think I would. anyway I'm rambling now and I'm just gonna hit submit and be done with this thing.

I have a friend in Lewisville, that says the same thing as you,'hydro' is easy to find, but often costs as much as 20$ a gram ! Screw that ! I'd be happy to just git ahold of some good ol skunk brick..seeds and all..lol. Right now,out here west of Fort Worth,it's basically dry..there's just a dab of mexican coming through and I ain't seen any skunk brick in months. I'm just a poor feller and I can't afford that daggum dro,if I had a grow room,I could grow better stuff anyhow..but I don't,so I have to settle for what I can afford.
Have a good one !
I live south of lewisville, and 20 bucks a gram is how much this "dro" costs here too. 50 an 1/8, 100 a 1/4. Anything that isn't dro goes for 40 bucks an ounce, and quality is variable--anywhere from dirty shwag to good bud with few seeds, red hairs and pungent aroma.
I agree, growing would be great, but just not a viable option. hmmm, so many people in the dfw need weed, someone could easily be in a position to make some $$$ here. Anyhow, that is niether here nor there, and I sense another rambling coming on, so I hope all works out for ya'll.
Maybe it would help if ya'll posted what part of the dfw you live in(it's pretty big). It might narrow the search down a little.

Hey somedude. I live fairly close to you. And I'm in your town at least once a week. Perhaps we might meet sometime for a drink or burger or something. I know there are others from this area on the message boards as well. We could just do all above-board stuff at first until everyone is cool. If nothing else, we could sneak over to Torog's house and surprise him!Quote:

I won't have any disposable income for another week and a half, so until then I can't really do anything. Well, maybe a little earlier, I'm supposed to get a few bucks soon. Drop me a line if you feel like doing something or if you're in town. You can email me at [email protected]
I wanted to try out a tea house on lover's lane, and this place called the cosmic cafe in dallas(can't exactly remember where), on oak lawn I think, cuz they have live citar music and a drum circle open to the public some days. Those might be some decent places to meet up.
On our way to torog's we can hit up that bbq place in euless, I loves me some smoked meat.

Have a good one !
While you're picking up some BBQ in Euless stop by my place in north Euless
Hey Torog. Sorry to disappoint you, but I checked my membership card and I'm not a liberal, gay muslim. But I'll see if I can find one if you like....maybe a little target shooting? lolQuote:

I guess we could meet up for bbq in Euless, stop over at bssman's house for a little mental relaxation, then head out west to the lake to your house for the rest of the day. By the time this happens, we'll have dozens of people popping over. Let's strip some cane poles for 'em and teach 'em how to fish for crappy!! Have a big fish fry, a few coolers full of beer, some fine green to enjoy it all with, and we've got that drum circle somedude was wanting..lol

Yup..my gal and I,git along just fine, because we learned how to agree to disagree,a long time ago...lol..but yer right-we do have some lively conversations..hehe.
You know what ? Now that I think of it..I might have some relatives in Euless..actually,I got relatives all over the D/FW metroplex..lol. Yup..it would be fun to go to PK lake or the other lake, south of me..the Hell's Gate observation/picnic area, would be cool to go to..but I know of a couple of private places we could go to and not have to worry about the game wardens..they're everywhere ! dang it ! And they have way too much power too..oh well..where there's a will-there's a way ! Yeeehhhaaawww !!!!
Have a good one !
I hear ya about the wardens. I went camping and fishing in Colorado not too long ago, and that warden bugged us almost every hour our first two days there. He must have thought we were up to something, which we weren't at all. He kept asking to see our "catch" of the day. We kept telling him we weren't keeping any fish because we didn't want to have to bring them back home after several days on ice. I think he figured we weren't fishing at all. He was a total prick too. He acted like Barney Fife on steroids.Quote:

What I think would be a blast is to rent a party boat at Lake Travis, near Austin, and hang out on it for a three day weekend with good friends. I don't have enough friends who would enjoy my way of relaxing dammit!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to live in Austin, and went fishing a few times,at Lake Travis..yer idea, sounds like a good one to me ! I ain't sure if you can do that at PK lake, but I wouldn't be surprised too much,if it is possible..heck,I'd rather sit out on the lake..than go to a bar !
Have a good one !

And his wife Shelby (she was in most of his old movies...the blonde babe) was very funny and was part of his act as well.
I hear ya about going to bars. We're going to one tonight to listen to some more comedy, but for the most part, I stay away from them. Too old for that crap.
I wish I lived on a lake. I love to fish, but mostly I just love the serenity of a lake lifestyle. We're hoping to move up northwest in a few years when I retire, and I defininitely want to live next to either a beautiful river full of trout or a beautiful lake. Actually, we'd like to own our own RV park and run it through our retirement years. That way maybe we could afford to live in a more beautiful place.
Got big plans for your weekend?

That sounds like a cool plan ya got too..I always feel better, the closer I am to Nature. I hope it works out for ya !

Hey Torog.....hope your Sunday is starting out great!
We went to a dueling piano bar last night in Addison. I felt like I was a hundred years old. That place was CRAWLING with 20-something women who looked like Playboy models!!!! My wife and I took another couple in their 50's. We all felt reallllllllllllllllllly old.....lol My wife and my buddy's wife felt really uncomfortable with all the young ladies there. Seriously, I haven't been around that much beauty in many, many years. All you single guys, check out Pete's Dueling Piano Bar on Beltline in Addison.
I learned last night.........I'd MUCH prefer to sit on a backyard deck with good friends, smoking a fattie, drinking some iced tea, and listening to the wind blow through the trees than deal with how loud, smokey, and fake the bar scene is. I finally faced it......I'm getting old. lol :D
So what's your plan for today Torog?

I'm not THAT old and I haven't enjoyed the bar scene in years. On Saturday we had some friends over, cooked some burgers on the grill, had a few beers, and had a great time. Wouldn't have done it any other way, except we were out of herb.
Yeah, I agree that we aren't all that old. Just seems that the world I used to live in is still for the 20-somethings, just like it was when I was 20-something.
I worked bartending, then later managing nightclubs for quite a few years, and also worked in the concert world too. I left that world a long time ago, but still enjoy dabbling and going back to relive some good old times.
Nowadays it's a treat to get to go out to stuff like that. But I sure feel the effects of staying up late, drinking a few too many, and smoking too much. "Back in the day" I could hang with anyone.
The bar scene is a younger man's world for sure.
You should have hollared at me. I'd have swapped some goodies for some burgers. And I was in Euless Friday night on my way home from seeing Chong in Ft. Worth. Gotta get back for some bbq soon!!Quote:
