This sucks i am having the worst problem imaginal i have to quit smokin for a yr. I am goin into the deep mines and get tested randomly i have been clean for about a week now it sucks. i look at all the pictures of the crystalized buds on the picture thing of this sight and man do i wanna smoke.... but i am goin of probation and goin in the deep mines for a yr and after i get my miners card im goin to school. i will be able to take a few hitts here and there but damn i didnt think it would be this hard to not smoke. i sit and watch me bros smoke and smell it and its like heaven but nnoooooo i cant do it sucks. so i just drink like a fish and think about how good its gonna be when i get off probation and outa the mines. anyone got any suggestions to make it easier??????????????? please............

Dude, I know what youre going through...I didn't personally have to quit smoking but my bf did so I had to cut waaayyy back :( cause I figured that it would be rude to smoke in front of him and we're together most of the time. I've had to quit in the past cause of probation also...I'm with ya man it totally sucks but hang in there and you'll do just fine :D

I know it's hard to quit smoking. I never really want to quit, and you've gotta want to quit to be able to quit. I wish you good luck upon your goal, but I really wish that you wouldn't have to quit to reach it.

im going through the same shit but im on probation for six months the last time i smoked was on st. patttys day, it sucks, i got caught with a half oz at school

it only gets worse with time if u allow weed to control ur thoughts ive been without for a few months now coz i lost my job n not found another yet but no point gettin all dpressed about it shit happens got to get on with ya life. jus do ya probation n then smoke it up

you can try an herb "st john's wort" dont smoke it just take a pill of it like 3 times a day. it will really help with the urge to "be high" you can pick it up at your local GNC or health food store or whatever. i think whole foods even has it. 5-htp also helps but its not as available as st johns wort. I know these can help you quit smoking weed, i have used these before to stop smoking in the past for various reasons. I had a highschool job at a hi-health, my manager was an old-school hippie and she reccomended these to me as i was planning on joining the army (thats another story). I sware by it bro!

All I can recommend is find a hobby that occupies your thoughts. The more you distract yourself the easier it will be.

Why do you want to get stoned (so bad) for, anyways? All it will do is let your guard down, so someone else can take advantage of your open-ness.

I quit smoking cigarettes in January this year. I was smoking since I was 14 or so. I'm now 35 so I smoked for more than half my life. I tried the cartridge cigarette thing but it didn't work... I decided to get hypnotised in the first week of January and I haven't smoked a cigarette since. Although, I have had a few drags of a joint when it had tobacco in it. But I have never returned to smoking cigarettes... I had no cravings since I walked out the door in January... Strange thing huh ! Anyway, smoke free and feeling good... A pack of 20 cigarettes here is about €9.50. That is equal to $11.60. Not a cheap habit !

Maybe go down the hypnosis route for smoking weed ? But then you might never have a hit again... Only other thing I can say is stay out of the mines and stay in school... Sounds like a shite job anyway... Stuck under ground all your life !
