I've noticed some people on here posting threads saying stuff like "Duh, yeah, umm... I was just lookin' around my bathroom cupboard... aaand, uh... I found this bottle with XCM written on it. Can I, like, get a buzz from this stuff?"

I think stoners are broken into two factors. Those who keep it real, and those who don't. Those who keep it real smoke weed, perhaps a lot, but to get high and have a good time, enjoying life, being happy and sticking it to the man. :cool:

Then you've got those who don't, ie. said posters of such threads. Do these people NEED to get fucked up everyday on something? If I run out of weed, bummer! I'll get some in a few days if I feel like it. I don't scrounge around like a junky for chemicals that might get the job done just as well because I NEED to be off my face somehow.

Not pointing fingers at anyone. I just think it's dumb and not what stoners do. :p

iv not had any weed in a week=/ i may get some more today may get some more in week iuno i have cough syrup in the fridge that has DXM in it but iv realy not felt a urge to try it=/....i dont like to judge and i dont like people to judge me.. touchy subject

I think maybe some of it has to do with age? (I'm pretty young myself so I'm not knocking young 'uns ;) ) I have some younger family members who are like that...I think they just think it's cool to talk about getting f'ed up all the time on anything they can get ahold of. :confused:

Well alot of time it is just younger people who were just wrongly misinformed in the first place.As all of us are when we first get into the drug scene.Id rather not have to see tons of posts on "will this fuck me up" also.But when we can inform these kids not to do certain things,if they listen,then we have suceeded.
What id rather NOT see is these kids hear from a friend they can get fucked up on some pill.and then not ask anyone or research it first,then in turn die.

Life is short. Enjoy it while you can, and if that includes getting fucked up, great! Luckily I always have weed around so I've never had the temptation to experiment with over-the-counter stuff, but I'm not going to condemn somebody for chugging some cough syrup for a buzz. If they want to use a certain chemical on their brains, that's their decision. Of course it's stupid to do drugs without finding out what they do first, but I'm in favor of stupid people making stupid decisions. That's how we evolved to be so smart in the first place. If you take drugs you know nothing about and have a bad time, you got what you deserved, just as if you had leapt out of a window without knowing how high it is off the ground.

I totally feel the same way, Im seventeen, and alot of kids in my school do anything they can get their hands on...there are a bunch of pill heads. Ive tried pills but I hate me, they make me feel dirty and like a drug addict or something, so I just smoke pot whenever i can, but I dont need to be fucked up all the time....it is pleasant to be clear headed at times.
