I saw this one the news this morning. Most thought it was impossible but apparently all the members of Pink Floyd, including Roger Waters, will be getting together again to play the Live 8 concert in London. Let's hope this is the start of something more than just one performance.
Anyone else heard anything about this?

Yeah, I would love to see them together. I've seen Waters twice and Floyd once but, even though all the shows were great, something just seemed to be missing. Seeing them together is a dream I've had for more than 20 years.

Definetly, I would love to see them play again w/ Syd Barret, will never happen though. Waters reuniting with the other members would kick some serious ass as well though!
I'm not completely sure, but Syd is probably dead anyway, his insanity wouldn't make a difference. :p

Well, I can always take comfort in Crosby Stills Nash, the Allmans and the Dead. Summer's gonna be okay. But somebody in the UK better see this shit and report back here!

Syds not playing with them. Syd lives in cambridge, hes looked after by his brother. The band arent really in contact with him anymore. I dont know much about his mental condition but from what ive heard hes not particularly stable.
by the way its confirmed that theyre playing at live 8.
