It's really great to see some canadians able to anything to grow!!!! Our grow time is so limited. Are you using any kind of fert? I bought seedlings and have no clue what type they are. Have you grown a successful load before?

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
The first photo is of seven of my plants.
The second photo is early sativa.
The third photo is of plants in a box,one early wonder skunk and three early sativas.
the fourth photo is of early wonder skunk
My early wonder skunk plants are already budding and turning a purple hue. early sativas are branching out. I fed my 11 plants have a tbsp of miracle grow in two liters of water, because of the constant rain. In two weeks I will give them a teaspoon per gallon for 11 plants, please let me know if I should or could fed my plants more. I'm saving a early sativa male to breed with a female lowryder.
Anyone out there wanting to trade lowryder seeds for colombia gold. The only reason I want to trade my colombia seeds is because I don't have the time and the weather, plus it grew out my growroom, the colombia gold the bud when its mature turns a golden color, spear shape buds, she can get quite tall,4' to 6' feet, good yield. get back to me thanks

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
The first photo here is of a unknown strain I grew two years she started budding in spring I called her Ivory.
The second photo is of Colombian Gold veg and bloom.
I still have colombian seeds to trade for lowryder.

Great job but the stealth operation seems to be lacking big time, unless of course I don't understand your growing situation,(your own property) or(so far away from people it's safe lol)..still it looks like good plants.

Canadian grow seasons are so short,I hope mine finesh in a good matter of time.
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Our grow season still runs fron say june to october! what province I guess for example,my province is best to plant after june the 2nd and harvest between septmeber 20 october the 10th after and before the first frost.....unless you have a strain that is running 10 or 12 weeks to flower? I use starins outside that take from 6 to 8 weeks to finish in flowering stage one strain I have she flowers as soon as a two weeks from clone and hasn't even been put into flowering,.....good luck man I hope you have more then you can handle....post udated pics throughout your grow,i'd appreciate that!.

-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
cool dude either way seems to be working out for you it's a tuff plant,I usually don't plant until close to the end of june that way I know I beat the frost and in your case hail lol, note I use clones let them get about 10 inch high with a stalk a little thicker then my index finger,to handle the wind of course! and then I put them outside, they all ready have a good start then I am still left with 6 more weeks of veg on top of 10 inch's before flowering time middle tail end of august.........so you don't use clones? or do you just grow from season to season?
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
I'm taking clones soon. They were grown from seed but I want to get them to bud,
tornado weather is next month, having shitty weather right now but hopefully it doesn't get any worser.

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
2 months/21 days.
Tell me what you think,or they too short
I'm using miracle grow 15-30-15 through lateveg & bloom, How much MG should I use for feeding 11 plants, or how much should i use per plant? I dont think the directions on the box work for chronic.

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Shit dude! they look great!,keep the pics coming!,try searching the net about your product your using to feed your plants,as for me when ever I use powder or chemical fertilizers I always use less then half the recommended dose, for example, when I use miracle grow 15-30-15 for flowering they say use"1.25ml per 4 litres of water 1/4 teaspoon per gallon I go half that until the buds are big enough to take more as the plant gets bigger I increase the dose but by that time they handle it well, every now and then I get a little fert burn on the end of the leaves, but don't worry a little fert burn won't kill your plant,to much would ,even though I haven't over fed a plant to death yet! but i hear it can be done lol.....I use 20-20-20 for veg cycle and starts about after 2 weeks of decent growth, once again, half the recommend dose!,do a test my friend with one of your plants with the fert you have, even though I would use a fert that has specifications ,something to go by....... do a test mix half the recommended dose use it on one plant! you won't have to wait long for a reaction or not,the very next day it should show if the tips are burned a little or not,if the tips are burned alot over a three day period back off on the dose!.........it's a little science to it,but once you know then ya know!.....good luck....
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
One more thing, maybe the soil you have has lot's of great stuff in it already! your soil it self may already be loaded with ferts, therefore by adding more chemical ferts may cause a bigger problem then just a little burn on the tip!,,,,,,but try it any ways unless your soil is super great!,but just try it if your plant starts to burn up after the second day just flush her with about 2 or 3 gallons of water which will clean out most of the chemical.....like I said most of growing pot is a hands on experience anyhow! I learned more on my own then from anyone helping me out,a couple of failures will lead you to some great victorys lol...but when growing marijuana who wants to fail? not me lol.
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
thanx.
they are getting bigger, much more difference from my previous photos.
yeah right now I am just using 15-30-15, when should I start fertilizing?,
some of the plants are showing signs of bud/pistils,how much bud?
Should I start using a stronger MG?
My plants are potted in two different mixtures of soil.
I made my own soil with, mixed soil, peat moss, perlite, some bone meal and blood meal, and a couple cups of dolomatic. The other soil is MG soil I bought at the store.
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
I bought three different strains,Colombian Gold,Early Sativa & Early Wonder Skunk from Marc Emery,I'm not sure how early wonder skunk is supposed to look but shes doing fine, she flowers early with blue & purple leaves and a lil bit of red. I seen Early sativa's pictures and mine doesn't look like them here is a link where you can see the strain. http://www.emeryseeds.com/budshots/3...sativaplot.jpg
Colombian is tall and potent, but i'm trying to trade my colombian gold seeds for lowryder seeds.
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Nice strain dude! if your's works out like that pic you put up as a link, you should be laughing all the way to and from your bong lol........I say start using ferts now! not everytime you water at first, say every 3rd watering for the first 30 days of the begining of your ferts when you start to give extra fert as the plants get more bigger ,and begin to really show bud increase the amount of fert and increase ferts with watering more often, say every second watering when they get huge! then just about everytime feed ferts with your normal watering..............but keep in mind when you are just about into your last week of flowing, stop ferts all together and use just water! that way your chemicals should be out of the plant and your buds will taste alot better!...
I give ferts to my plants after 2 weeks from clone, start the dose small half of recommended dose..then I continue to give ferts every third watering.
Keep in mind if the plants show a little fert burn on the tips,I then back off from the ferts until after a few waterings with just water, keep in mind most of my plants do show a little fert burn from time to time but it aint no big deal.
after 4 to 6 weeks from clone I am just about giving plant it's full dose! but still only giving it to the plants every third watering, but when the buds are starting to get big I increase to just about every watering, based on if the tips are burned and how big the plant is........like I said experiment a little! with one plant hopefully you can do all your experiements on one of your males if you have any...............good luck

And I was wondering if I should be using this other product I have
Wilson-fish base flowering plant food 5-10-5,its long lasting, non burning and low salt index. please get back to me thanx

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Well to answer your question would only be fair to mention the fert table!,for example look at the box of fertilizer,it will indicate 3 numbers, for example........miracle grow 15-30-15,your first number 15 means (n) nitrogen 30 means (ph)phosphate 15 the 3rd number (soluble potash)....
(N) Nitrogen is what gets the plant growing great,in veg state the plant loves it in fact without enough (N) the plant would ruff it along and the results would be slow going,, and a waste of time,(N) in a high number say 20 is great for vegging, your plant in veg state uses alot of (N) and thats were you get your green color to lol,the middle number (ph) is always needed in veg cycle but not in a high number amount,(ph) is used mostly by the plant in flowering and the plant will require lots of (PH) to juice up those coming along buds, not enough (PH) buds will be a lesser size and perhaps even a lesser qaulity, the last number is potash and lots of other things like, boron, copper, iron, manganesian, zinc, and plenty of other thing's your plant needs to sustain life and grow good..............the veg cycle push's for a high number for (n) and flowering push's for a high (middle number for (PH) third number usually never go's higher then the first two unless your growing something entirely different then weed lol,,,,for example I use 20-20-20 for vegging and believe it or not the two last numbers in the 20's is not necessary, could be much lower, but seeing that my plants grow really fast and big they use up what ever I give them, but when I flower I always get the (1st and 3rd number way below the (PH) number,15-30-15 is good but if you can get the ph even higher you'll probably do even better, but once again lack any three numbers at any given time could starve the plant of one thing or another.....I often used to flower my buds with 10-52-10,and the buds were great!,but then again I flowered with 15-30-15 and done well also....
There is alot of information on the net! based on this sunject and I by no means claim to be a exspert but can only speak from my own personal grows and what did and didn't work for me........note:even on the fert numbers#-#-# people all over the place, some argue this some agrgue that!......but most would agree high (N) for vegging low(N) for flowering........low Ph for vegging and much higher (ph) for flowering.........thats why you see most peoples plants at the end of flowering their leaves are turning yellow on the plant, thats because they cut back on the nitrogen and the plant sucks the fan leaves dry of nitrogen,,,,,,,,,,,,the reason for cutting back (N) during this cycle is to promote bud development rather then new growth on the plant...make sense? lol I try to understand it all my slelf sometimes and get mind boggled there is so much to know lol..............hope I helped.

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
As for Wilson-fish base flowering plant food 5-10-5? I don't know my friend never used it before but sounds great for new cuttings or newly transplanted plants, but for growing in veg or flowering, you may want to use something little stronger,,,,right now when the sun gets hotter your plant will be crying for alot of N in a high number, and when flowering she will demand a high ph.............do a little research on it,and youl'l find out if it's any good or not......but be prepared for alot of reading lol the subject of fert numbers are a huge subject........i got lost for a week one time just reading up on ferts
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
hey thanks for all the info,
Yeah I will try to look up more about fert.
Would you know how long I will use MG 15-30-15 until?
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
You could use mg 15-30-15 for the entire grow if you like the results were great for me!,but as of latley I have been using 10-52-10 for flowering and the buds were really great as well,as long as you keep a high ph during flowering things should work out...as for using a higher PH product should be used when starting your flowering cycle, say in canada around august the 15th or so,the 15th is just a mark set up could be a little sooner or a little later.....note:alot of people say Miracle grow is the shits! but I disagree havent had alot of problems with their product other then a bit of fert burn from time to time, but thats because their product has alot of good shit in there!................................good luck...............and remember there are probably a dozen people or more will disagree with me,but based on my own grows only................besides wouldn't try to lead you astray lol after all it's important to all of us here that you grow some great bud!...good luck and hope I have been some help..

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Today I took a trip out to my secret growing spot.
I tied my plants so the wind couldn't blow them away,
they were doing fine. The weather is supposed to continue being windy and rainy until the weekend. I'm just waiting for it to clear up
The first photo is of early {monster} sativa's stalk,I like it.

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Here are my beauties,I was in a rush so I could not take more pictures.
The weather is nice I could say at least the sun is out :D
I know it will probably rain again soon,or sooner then I think.
I noticed my plants have gotten bigger. I was looking over my plants and I noticed that one of my early sativa has a slight burnt on her leave from the sun. Sunday I will be feeding them their every two weeks Miracle grow.
I wanted to start taking clones soon, and I was wondering what would be a good cloning gel or powder to get at a local wal mart,or garden centers.
thanks. I should be online laters... until then...smoke a bowl for me :D
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
....I'm gonna clone tomorrow, take 5 clones. Is it too late to clone
I will flower them right away.
-
Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Just about any gel or powder is good! some people don't even bother using anything, and also to answer your other question,NO it's not to late to take clones from your plant, infact you can take clones at any time you want,I often took clones from a flowered plant, sniped the bud away and just left the leaves,,,and clone the cutting, that I just finshed taking a sample bud from!..
But keep in mind when taking cuttings (clones) when plant is in flowering is a much harder time getting the clones to root!,the further into the flower cycle the harder it is to get the roots to get really going...
True story: One time I had a certain strain that I loved and sold a bunch of clone cuttings from my Mother plant to a few growers I knew, and I loved the strain so much it was a great smoke! so I decided to get some decent bud from her in 8 weeks or so through her into flowering after about the 5 week into flowering,I cut a bunch of clones from her in hopes of keeping the strain alive,in hopes of getting another mother to replace her from one of her own clones, keep in mind she was now heavy in to starting to show bud, what ended up happening was that none of the clones took! I was horrified lol, they got moldy real quick and I was taking the lid off the humidity dome every 5 hours or so,and she wasn'r soaked either, but yet the clones sat in the medium for three weeks still no rooting, just mole lol.......but this story has a happy ending,I let my mother plant finish up shy a week from finish, cut all the buds of and put the mother back into veg and managed to save one of myfaviorite strains...........................note:taking cuttings while plant is deep into flowering is possible, but the effort to get those babys to root is a much harder task then say cutting in veg state...............

Still raining.
I was thinking of taking clones when it brightens up.

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
I think Marc Emrey mixed up my order. My plants look more like Manitoba poison. Early sativa & Manitoba poison come from the same family.
Manitoba poison
50/50 indica sativa cross
height 4ft
flower 6/7 weeks
yield 1/4 lb harvest sept 1

Growing in thee great outdoors in canada
Dude I was looking through your pics to see if you have some decent sites on the plants to take clones, and your plants have loads of great clonable branch's get cutting dude! and move your grow inside for the autum lol, even though if you took clones now they should root in about 10 days or so,then give them another week under some veg lights, then plop them outside in more buckets,of course you lost a fare amount of veg growth before flowering cycle begins but still would end up with some fine bud never the less,I say go for it!,there is still a six week period or so from now to flowering time......go for it dude! I am still cutting and planting clones as we speak lol..got another 20 well rooted and ready to go out over the weekend coming.......plus I have another 40 or more cuttings waiting in the clone domes! they should be ready within the next week or so......good luck.....

Today is alot warmer with sunshine,so thats good.
Yes the garbage around the pails are for more stealth, I could only take two clones because I only had two peat pellets, I have to take a trip into the city to buy so more. I want to start flowering my plants,so far the only ones I'm bringing into flowering are the dwarfs. I can't wait to see how my plants turn out towards the ending of the summer season.
