quality web-site with tons of reliable info.lol
Have you ever heard the saying if you don't have anything nice to say shut up?
This is a non bias site. I suppose you think the war is free? Oh no I bet you think it is all paid for by Bush. lol You never post any links to anything. You just run that illiterate mouth of yours. Join the marines you little coward...
Yeh, amsterdam sits there and bawls about not being able to join because of his felony. WHATEVER! My friend signed up for the navy even though he had a misdemeanor for pot AND a 1.3 GPA! This guy sits there and i remember him talking about how him and his friends did "quite well" in the stock market and even bought a few houses! I wonder how amsterdam got the capital to invest in enough stocks to buy a house...chee could it have been from a silver spoon in his mouth or maybe he won it off of terrorists in a craps game or maybe he robbed an old couple while on his felony spree. This guy has gotta be some 80 year old geriatric in florida somewhere. He's as senile as Bush.
you said it yourself dumbass, what kind of charge did your friend have?
i got from what we call a J-O-B.
you dont have to save alot of money for down payment on a house.dont you have one?

i am 26 years old now.i fucking grew up and went back to school.you dont have to tell me that being a felon is loser,i know it is.i was stupid and did not see a bigger picture until i got older.anyone that cant get their life together in america, the land of chances dosent deserve to make it.
dropped out, lived in holland two years and traveled the world, came back and went to school and busted my ass to get my job.i must have applied to 200 companies before i finished.luck and hard work buddy,no free rides here,my mom is a secretary for the city of galveston and my dad died when i was three.silver spoon??
again.... If the felony occurred when you were a juvenile you have a better chance of getting in the military....thats direct from the army website...and the marines which is what you belong in... MARINES trust me..they will take you. I have 2 friends WITH felonies as adults that got in...whats the harm in checking with them...or are you ALL MOUTH?
I grew up in Galveston..coming from there you would think you would have a more open mind...but then I left before Texas was Bushwacked.Quote:

All you've done is repeat the same statement over about a felony that's bunk to you signing up. Real American ideal you seem to be living. I seem to remember the Vietnam war reports i read for a school project where 16 year olds were being sent in to fight to make up for dwindling troop resources. 16 year old kids had more balls than you and im sure they wouldve rather been out doing the explore the world thing than getting shot at overseas.
vietnam?you gotta move on guy.lol.
true blues.
I lived on 45th street and on P 1/2 before the neighborhood went bad..and I lived out on the west end beach for a while...I went to Island elem and Rosenberg.. St. Mary's and OConnell I was in school during busing and went to Booker T as well. I also went to Weis.
how cool is that!!my mother lives off 47 and woodrow and i grew up in cedar lawn.i went to trinity episcopal until 6 grade and then moved to clear lake in intermediate school.
you should have stayed and worked for the city, you could retire next year with my mom on he partially privatized social security and bought a house on the beach.oh well.
i love galveston though, the strand is great in the summer, lots of great art,.
Every time anyone brings up a past war DAM DAM you make a remark about that being a long time ago..or as you just did "move on" tell me have you had a history class?
Have you not heard...Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I used to work at Clear Lake hospital..
nice.that entire area has multiplied by about 100 times.galveston to houston is just a big metropolis.i will never move back, something my mom will never understand.
Galveston is a beautiful place...it is the only place in Texas I like...
austin is very nice, the river in New Braunsfuls is a blast.
Crime is too high in Austin..
i believe it,that was the only place in texas where i was approached on 6th street out of the blue and asked if i want some heroin.funny.
Galveston was a rough place to go to school has it change any?
I lived in Kerrville too. I have lived all over Texas but I left to go to school in Arkansas then followed Clinton's presidency...and moved to Canada when Bush got in.
its gotten a little better but ball high is still all gangs.the star quarterback got arrested a couple of years ago after the state football championship on 1st degree murder charges.he had a full ride to U.T. and decided to rob a store and shoot the owner.
LOL. BlueCat dont let him flatter you! "Amsterdam let me show you how your view is fundamentally flawed..." *amsterdam* " austin's very nice this time of year". "Amsterdam let me post this link proving my claim's validity..." *amsterdam* I've heard of some very nice retirement packages for galveston that they have nowadays". Amsterdam answer some goddamn questions instead of taking the politician route.

its ok Nic just opening a dialog here....lol
I still think Dam Dam is avoiding the issue of serving his country.....I can't blame him... He does not want to die...but I think anyone that enjoys the spoils of war should go see it first hand...
Thank you I'll take that as a compliment.Quote:

i agree sometimes amsterdam u should just shut up. but i dont wanna offense you.
Amsterdam should smoke more. Everyone should. That's a fact thats irrefutable
yes. i should even smoke more, but im too busy drinkin beer and trying to focus on something to get sick.
lol jk
the cost of war is crazy...stop and consider that when a soldier dies, the family is entitled to at LEAST 100k in SGLI, thats just the min coverage, most upped it to 200k with the war. And how about each time a milti million dollar tank, or BFV, gets blown up or whatever...the cost is unfathomable.
the really sad thing is all the injured soldiers that are forgotten and are not getting help after returning home. I find it disgusting...soldiers many with severe injuries, are given little help to gain access to military doctors.
I have read about injured soldiers sometimes having to pay their own medical bills or going into debt because their active-duty tours end and they are physically unable to go back to their civilian jobs.
As of April more than one-third of injured soldiers who applied to have their benefits extended were denied....Yet they can pay those civilian contractors millions!
And why do they always bring the soldiers home under the cover of darkness?
