Why is hydro better?

I was just wondering why hydroponnically (sp) grown weed is better than the traditional grown in the dirt weed. Is there more THC in it? If so, why?

i prefer natural grown weed, for the taste. if the dirt grown weed is good, the difference in potencey is negligable...

its not better, dunno if theres more thc in it but certainly not better unless ur getting off a real experienced hydro grower, definately prefer natural if i get the choice

Ok, for some reason I was just under the impression that hydro was always some great shit and I didn't know why.

hydro,or dro, is just the street term for really good weed.its just a way of growing it.

Just a guess, but it would seem that you could get exactly the nutrients a plant needs to it, in the right proportion, when you were the only one adding them, not the soil. Also, you could prob avoid all the nasty molds and microbes that could ruin your crop.

I think most people seem to think hydro is better simply because nearly all the hydro that is grown is really high quality. In other words, if someone is going to take the time and energy to grow hyroponically they probably aren't going to grow schwag. They're going to grow on a small scale, use high thc strains, and baby those girls until they are just right for the pickin. A lot of the natural grown is large scale, has a lot of seeds, and is grown for quantity, not quality. If the same amount of tlc goes into growing natural, however, you'll get the same high quality as you would with hydro.

One thing about hydro is the plants are busier and yeilds are higher due to the controlled nutrients. Here's a link to an article with good info:

Someone who realy knows how to grow can Grow A High Strain in SOil that would blow the thc in dro to the moon. BUt if i get my hands on dro around here it beats the soil crap...Cuz well The soil grown crap is Crap round here dont realy get strains just good dro=P or Mexican Dirt and maybe some Decent Mids.

Mostly all of the natural outdoor weed that I get when out of the U.S. all never look like the big bud-like, crystals all over,etc. that u usually see in the forums.

Sometimes it's pressed, but it's a really strong smelling and colorfully green bud(s).
Especially in Thailand, the buds usually smell so strong, but they aren't like the buds i used to get in boston, lookwise.

but comparing the thai natural outdoor to homegrown? hmmmmmm usually all the natural shit will knock u on your ass.
