with skunk special from female seeds. The buds are so beautiful, and powerfull, i put my last 4 seeds to germ. Now they have 15 days. They should be bigger, no? What do you think ? (DWC, GH nutes, EC 1,1, 250 HPS, 20/4, 26 celsius) The roots are nice, white, 10 cm long.

looks good... seeds can take awhile.. looks fine for 15 days... it is the next 15 days that the plants should grow grow grow... : )
A closer pick of the leaves would give me a better idea.... they may look a bit light.. what's you PH and PPM?

Hey there, here are some new pics of my new hydro grow. The biggest are skunk special from female seeds, they have 3 weeks from seedling, 250 MH for a few days, and i see the results. You can see the progress since last week. The smallest are AK47 from serious seeds and skunk #1 from sensi. They have 1 week from seedling, they stretch quite a lot i think and they still look for light and they have 250 MH not far, so i put a clod bulb to help them. You can see also a 3 weeks old root system in bubbler device.
What do ya think ?

fhydro what do you do when they get bigger? To me it seems like the plants will just tumble over since the lid is just laying on top.
What do i do ? I see them growing. The net pot is tied in the top and should not tumble over is the plant is not too much desiquilibrated. I had some much much bigger in the previous grow, bended, and it finished "quite" OK. Good remark...

Hello, i send an update of my new grow. The skunk special from female seeds has gone in the flowering chamber with a 600 HPS. They are 6 weeks old and 10 days under 12/12. The biggest sucks 2 liters a day. In the growing chamber, on the right, a few afghan successfull clones, in the middle skunk from Sensi seeds, and on the left, my first AK47. They are in the 4th week since seed. They are going to switch to 12/12 on sunday. The main problem is heat, sometimes it's 30 celcius in there, and the main of the main is providing air to the bubblers.
Comments, advises are welcome.

some new pics : these ones are 4 ak47 on the right and 4 sensi skunk on the left. 34 days from seedling, and 4 days into 12/12. The AK seem to be all females, i took cuttings today, i hope it's not to late. AK is very lanky and stable, while skunk is less. On the 4 skunk, 2 are big, 2 are small, and i don't know the sex yet.
Here, 4 skunk special feminized, the biggest one the right has got few males balls. 20 days into 12/12, the cristals are coming on the buds. More on the right i put since sunday a bucket with 4 afghan clones. 24 liters of nutes every week, i can't believe it. I'm going to buy some new GH nutes bottles.

Hi there, here are some new pics I've just taken during artificial night. First is skunk special 27 or 28 days of 12/12, the second is my ak47 and sensi skunk, one month of veg, and now 10 days into 12/12. Buds are coming but are not visible yet. I bought a 400 w HPS to enhance my lighting system. So there are 650 w HPS for 8 plants which are all females, 4 skunk, 4 AK. Incredible, very high female/male ratio with good breeders. What do you think ?

Yes, i think that the leaves are necessary until they are completely dead. I wish i could remove them. About GH nutes, you must use a PH balanced water, but it's OK. I use now a lot of flora bloom, like 300 cc a week, yes, that's correct, in 72 liters of water every week for 12 plants. They drink all the water. I feed them twice a week. I added air pomps, i have 3x540 liters/hour of air and that's better. And i add a little of CO2 with baking soda and vinegar.

i succeeded in making better pics, i hope so for the less, so i want to share them with you. Now, pic 1, the skunk special is 1 month into 12/12. Second pic, a skunk special bended bud. I make that to save heigth. In the same room, i put afghan clones that are 2 weeks into 12/12, showing tiny but cute buds(pic 3). In the other room, following pics, 4 ak47 and 4 sensi skunk, 2 weeks into 12/12 but not showing buds as the afghan, maybe the sativa pheno? What's your opinion? Any experienced AK47 grower ?

Now, the skunk special is 5 weeks into 12/12. 3 weeks left, i hope the buds will be bigger. Do you see the brown pike of the leaves. They are burnt, too much heat ? It smells quite strong now. The last pic is an AK47 3 weeks bud, the trichs are there but the bud is not as big i would expect. Each strain is different. I added a 3 weeks into 12/12 afghan clone. It looks much more like a sativa strain, sativa bud. What do you think ?

6 months of flo for those skunk special. They get bigger every day. On bud close to the wall is getting very fluffy, beautiful. 2 weeks more to harvest those big and dense buds. Tomorrow i stop giving them flora grow for the 7th week. The last week they will drink only water. The grow room smells a lot. The last pic shows the ak47 4 weeks of 12/12. They don't thrive as i would like, for one month of 12/12, they look very thin, now ? They have a lot of trichs, but they grow long but not thick. Did someone grow ak47 before, to tell me? Have experienced a problem of PH low and high EC, maybe they have not recover yet ?

Now they smell very strong! I started the flush today until the harvest, I think 10 days. The trichs are still clear and the some pistils become to be brown, like 10%. They are quite sane for over ferts plants, look at the leaves and they keep on getting bigger everyday. 10 days more :D

In the other chamber, the ak47 and sensi skunk 5 weeks into 12/12. They have experienced an over ferts problem and now they are in a curing flushing mode. 3 days with plain water PH 6.0, every day i have to lower it. They drink more now that they have been flushed. How long do i have to flush them ? AK47 is very very well trichomed, for 5 weeks. And the buds are getting thicker now after having stretched. The smell is not that i've heard, my skunk special smells alot more. The leaves are a little burnt by ferts, but i hope it's the last time it occurs.

Bumping up to 6 or even 6.2 can be ok. Look at the chart Ph is one way to give exact nutrients. Like if you are lacking one by raising the Ph you can increase one nutrient over another one.
Like Ph of 5.8 there is no real Mn uptake, Fe is reduced and so it B & P & MG. By playing with the Ph you are playing with fire. If you do it right you can fly through a grow and have results others can only dream of.

wow zandor, that's great knowledge. Tell me.... what is your pH "regimen" as to certain pH at certain stages. I have a constant pH monitor, and although I get a slow steady rise in pH especially after a nutrient change, I keep between 5.6 and 6. I would love to know what you recomend for all phases from seed to harvest as to exact pH and when.

hell yeah. 4 out of 4 Grapefruits germed. They are so big and strong that I had to give 2 away due to lack of space. The Easy Bud is short but FAT and good for lack of height and space in a grow room. The EB seemed to be a bit more sensitive and "needy" to optimum conditions (proper pH and light, and temo). The GF seems to be a no brainer!!!
Female Seeds .nl just sent me an email about a new strain they carry now. I asked for a Hash Plant or similar and they sent me an email that they now have Hash Plant x Northen Lights. You have to try it!!!!!!!! I will definitely try for my next grow starting mid september. we should both try at same time and compare notes!!!!
Your skunk specials look AWESOME dude. I would try them myself but I have to have low odor strains for my stealth cabinet. By the way, the EB has little to no odor yet and the Grapefruit, well, the Grapefruit smells like grapefruit!!!!!!!!!

fhydro, if you get your hands on some hashplant seeds you definatly have to post a diarie on it. Hashplant = my favourite :D. I love growing it, I grew it once in soil and it turned out nice.

Hi, i'm proud to announce that my 4 skunk special from Female Seeds have reached the peak potency. After 1 week of flush and a diary study of the trichomes with the microscope i had when i was a child ( X 100 200 300 ), i decided to put them in the dark during at least 36 hours and harvest them. In the same grow room there are my 4 afghan clones, 6 weeks of 12/12, and they are rippen i think. I did not check the trichs, but the hair are all brown, the leaves are yellow and they seem ready.
StormCooker, you told once you had grown some AK47, so could you tell me how many days you let them under 12/12 before harvesting. They are given for 47 days, but i'm sure it's bull shit regarding it's a most sativa strain.

Fhydro, those skunk specials are so awesome, like huge pine cones for colas. What do you plan on doing with all that weed? Tell me, does that plant produce more odor than most plants or about the same? After seeing those, I gotta try them. Female Seeds .nl right?
I flowered my AK47 for about 8.5 weeks before harvest. Your results may vary because I was still learning a lot during that grow and had a lot of bumps in the road possibly effecting the final outcome (such as pH and resevoir algae). In the end however, due to this plants prolific strength, I ended up with about a half-pound of the stickiest ickiest weed in town. Everyone I gave some to said it was as good as it gets.
Grapefruit and Easy Bud 51 days from seed, 21 days of flower
I think that i'm gonna smoke 90% and give the other 10. Just to share the taste and have some congrats. But i don't want to be so famous, you know. I feel very paranoied because of these huge buds. Tomorrow, harvest day, manucuring day also, and cleaning day to start the other crop, AK47 in a new bubbler set up.
Your grow is splendid, StormCooker, the plants are so healthy ( not even one fert burn ) that you will get the max of the strain, i think...

You will be astonished by AK47. Even the novice grower can have huge results. you will see that you will have multiple colas not just the one from the tippy top. Heavy side branches. I almost want to suggest you grow the AK in the best way you know how, instead of a "new" way to maximize potential. Is the bubbler setup new to you? 6 out of 6 were female for me. I got them from Serious Seeds. You should try some in bubbler, and some in the way you have done. You will learn a lot that way. I'm not sure if you saw my pic of the AK in grow stage (about 3 weeks from seed). I'm still smokin' it now 3 months from harvest. A little dab will do ya'. It's a great up high, little couch lock, a good all-day pot.

Nice pic, mine are not like this. I think i missed my AK grow, for many reasons : first, i had bought new and cheap air stones, and the first days, they coloured the roots with grey at the water level of the bubbler. I had a problem of heat, which resulted in lanky seedlings that i had to maintain with a wood stoke. After, putting them in 12/12, they stretched a lot because of the heat i think ( summer time despite 3 blowing fans 24/7). Then i experienced an over fert problem and i had to flush them. They have recover, but the buds are far not so dense than skunk special ones. Finally, the bad air stones desintegrated themselves, giving bad air input. Now that i put more air and good air stones, they drink more than before. They have between 2 and 3 weeks to go, and i think it will not be awesome. Anyway, some pics of the Skunk Special harvest anyway.
Yes you could go with skunk special in your closet, because they are short plants. The biggest is 50 cm. The others are 40 cm. But the smell is terrific. Now that i had cut them, no smell in the grow room, though there is AK and sensi skunk growing in there.

Update of the AK47 from serious seeds, i had 4/5 females, good seeds, but you see that for 6 weeks of 12/12, it's not very good. A lot of trichs anyway, more than on the skunk special. Then, the grow room after harvest, the new centralized bubbler system that will be more stable than little buckets, and finally, a snapshot of the skunk special.
