I'm on day 19 of my grow and am having probs Help Please (pics)

I started my grow 19 days ago i germinated in paper towels in a plastic bag the seeds are from paradise and they are magic bud 50%sativa 50%indica . I got my soil from a grow shop it is cell max future growing it cantains:
Garden Peat
White peat fraction 2-3
Baltic peat
Perlite
Worm Fertiliser
Potting soil mix
Fungus strains and bacteria
Biological fertilizers
PH 5.8/6.5
EC approx. 1.5
The plants spent there first week in small pots under 2x36w compact fluros.
Now they are under a 600w hps 23" minnimum distance from top of plant too the light.
the pots are 4 to 5 litre pots.
The temperature varys from 77 to 92 degrees farenheit i know its hot but i cant seem to change it with the extractor, the humidity goes from 65% to 35% and if i extract or instract it allways puts the humidity down which will hopefully be of use if i make it to flowering.
I watered the girls day 14 aprox then day 19 approx 7 Liters of water between all 10 and i keep the ph of the water at an optimum level with a ph- solution.
The problem started and the edge of one plants leaves turned yellow i thought maybe it was burnted but iv turned the fan up and moved the light away and its still spreading even on the lower leafs. I'm now thinking nutrient deficiency but the soil is supposed to have everything for up until the flowering i'v heard. Heres some pics too Any ideas will be much apreciated as im getting very woried about my girls now.

You know I really dont see a problem at all....

THose brown spots on leaves can be caused by the leaves dipping on to the dirt, or water or soil getting splashed on them. Those leaves will be long gone anyhow once it starts.

I would say:

1. Try to lower your air temp. I am not sure about all the extractor / intractor whatever that means. Remove the hot air thru a vent and blower fan.

2. Don't worry about the humidity at this point....

3. Water with a pH of 7.0 - 7.5..... that soil seems a little bit acidic.... 5.8 is just too low. Buffer it up with the adjsuted pH range.

4. You dont have nute deficiency. Very hard to have so early.

5. Water a tad bit more often. And water the ENTIRE soil base.

Remember, you are entering the critical phase here, weeks 3 and 4 when the sex will most likely be determined. Don;t stress them from heat and not enuff water. Too much is better than none in my opinion at this time.

Looks good, I would relax and let them grow.

Thanks alot m8 youve put my mind at rest a bit. ill grt my extractor back on to get more hot air out this is my extractor setup it goes to outstde and i can use it to get air in from outside or to take hot air out.

Temperature is to high, bring fresh air in and circulate it often. Your Ph is off too, soil Ph should be 6.3 to 6.8 for best results. With Ph below 6.5 your plant can't uptake needed nutrients like (P) and (Mg) and limited uptake of (Ca). Your plant is not getting enough nutrients of some and to much of others.

You're not using Miracle grow soil are you?

Use the extractor to take hot air out.

Bringing outside air in with a forced fan is ok, but if it is one or the other, choose forcing the hot air out.

Make sure the intake of your exhaust fan is at or near the top of the cabinet as the heat rises.

Thanks guys the ph of the water is about 6.7 it is the soil that is a bit lower as that is the ph it says on the bag its bought from a grow shop and especially for growing marijuana so i hoped it was ok. Thanks zandor and harddon iv been extracting the air from under the light and it seems a bit better heres the worst affected plant and my extractor setup what do you think ?

Plant looks real good.

You will want to tie that girl down so the bud shoots will delevop. Start slowly and take down about half an inch a day for a week.

As for your air vent system, very creative.

Is that an inlet right next to the outlet?

Make sure the inlet isnt simply sucking the hot air right back in.

Looks good....hows the temps now?

your fans wont be workin to full efficiency cos your ductin all bent an wonky put it so your pullin in a straight line an you'll have more economic productivity from them

Thanks m8 it seems to be cold air coming in but it is from outside so not a great deal of co2. I was thinking about bending but they do seem to be quite bushy hear's a pic of my biggest girl at the mo. I made a scrog on one of the bigger pots to but not shure if i'm gona use it or not yet. Maybe ill just tie and bend. heres a pic of my adjustable scrog too iv only made one so far. I think i'm starting too see some sighns of sex too now but cant quite determin yet theres just 2 hairs on each node so far but no sighns of nut sacks yet thank god.

Trust me bro, it is ready to be tied down.

Just cuz she's short n bushy doesnt mean she wont benefit freom it. I wish to hell I had tied whore down a long time ago. My GOD I oculd have done some wonderful things with her had I got this far before and new the room I had to have but dont.

You wanna tie her down now and get those early shoots blasting out. Remember as she grows, the earliest shoots will be the smallest and least yielding shoots.

Those fans leaves are gonna be huge so start the light getting to the growth just under the main tip ASAP.

The sooner they get developed the sooner the main bud shoots will be springing up all over the place.

Looks good.

However, the way you have the rope lassoed around the pot is a bit cumbersome.

Think about the future.

You are gonnd have to tighten her down, again again and again.

As those shoots grow, you're gonna want to add those to the TIE DOWN program as well.

THink for now but also for later... :)

Those pots seem pretty big so it will be a while before you need to transplant...so...I would drill small sets of holes at the top rim of the pot and tie to those holes.

After a while you will want to remove that initial tie, as she will be permanently bent at that spot once the main stem turns back up. (A few days and then tie her again)

Also that rope might me a tab bit wide....I prefer twisty ties as its is far easier to work with. No tieing knots and stuff....

You will want to be able to adjsut on the fly with these tie downs, so make it easier on yourself now by planning for the future. Get a better tie down material...

Other than that, you did a fine job.

Plan on them looking like hell from here out cuz you wanna tie and bend tie and bend.

THat plant is the PERFECT candidate for a long, wide, mutil bud shoot plant. You gonna luv it....

I'v done tham all now except for 3 as ones too small and i ran out of string for the last two. When i untie and retie the plants do I rebend the main stem in a different direction or to I wait for a new big stem to develop and bend that one.

But....

Try to leave the base of the main stem pointing directly up and down. The part you want to bend is all ABOVE the main stem.

Some of them you have bent too far as the entire plant is now 'leaning.'


Remember, 1/2 inch a day or 2.

Take it easy and slow and allow the tie down to force the stem to GROW INTO the bend, rather than force the stem to bend to be tieddown.

You got the right idea, I just think a little less force and a little more coaxing is all you need.

Keep the base of the main stem straight so it can support the plant later on when it becomes bud laden and heavier.

If so, turn the lights on and getto work. no need to rest during veg like in flower.

I waited till the lights went on themselves just to be on the safe side m8 but i'v done them now i used 2 ties in each to keep the stalk in place what do you think?

Well the first pic you fucked up. :(

Seems like you tried to 'counter' the bend of the main stem. This tie will reduce the ability of the stem to grow and thicken at that point where the tie is.

NOT GOOD. You are now stressing the stem in opposit directions. THis is not really what we wanted to achieve.

We want to arrive at a tied down plant that allows more light to the secondary growth. The tie at the stem base serves NO purpose in arriving at that goal.

REmove it and just loosen the first tie at the top....the fern will right herself up and then take her down like I said a half and inch a day or two.

Not sure why all the twisty tie...

two holes at container edge.

run the end of the twisty up thru the hole.

run it and just loop it across the stem you want to bend.

run it down thru the second hole.

gently twist the ends together.

start slow and take down a little more every day.

make sure the twusity tie doesnt cut into the stem.

You got the right idea....just take it easy.....one tie....one bend....one tie...one bend.

remember the goal.....

to allow light to hit the secondary growth. if it doesnt accomplish this, dont put a tie there.

attached is a pic of WHORE who almost got killed last week. since she wilted, it is fairly easy to see how i have tied one of the stems...blow up the picture and look at the right side of the pic....

do it like that.....simple and clean....

After looking at the last pic, i cant see to well the ties.

A couple look really really good. SOme I can see the whole stem bend and the plant is at an angle.

Fix that.

Also, I see your fan.

Turn the ferns so that the main stem tip, now bent, is facing into the oncoming wind. THis will help the joints to the main stem get a bit stronger faster.

These are the future joints that will brace your buds ... :)

Lets get em nice and strong and develop good nutrient channels whist they are young.

Here is WHORE DAY 33...you can see the multiple tie downs I had to do to her....all around the whole darned pot.

The other two pics are how she came out after I untied her. I had to untie her as I ran out of room. Good Lord what she would have become had I had the room and the experience...

The idea of tieing the bottom I got off overgrow.com Its to take some of the stress of bending that much heres the tie from another angle you wont have been able to see b4 it shows the space that the main stem has to grow.
they seem to be doing ok this morning getting bushy quick. I still got probs with too much heat even with my extractor taking the heat on full power.

Yea, i read the thread and while I dont think it is needed, your plants, your call.

It is tuff to tell from the pics....but remember you main grow stem should be pointed at a right angle...90 degrees.

Some of the pics look like they are just 'leaning' to the side. But They may just look that way. Make sure you BEND OVER not PULL TO THE SIDE.

You re gonna have a really nice grow MB.... with the 50% sativa, plan on keeping on the bending spree.

Just keep the tops bent...the new growth will emerge like it is...very nice!!!!
