Iv heard alot about DXM and am wanting to try it but can anyone experienced with it tell me some things.
I.how long does it last (ammount/length)
2. What are the ways to Get it. Aka i heard something bout Cough syrup?
3. What are the Trips like, is it different each time.
4 and are there any SIde Affects?
5. any other useful information like how to take it ect ect=)

Suggestion.. Don't do it.
DXM is fun, but stupid, but if you must how is some info. Yes, cough syrup is the best way other then getting pure DXM because the cough syrup only has DXM as active. The trip is different everytime about (for me anyways), it last for 5 to 8 hours depending on dose, side effects include trouble peeing, burning skin, itchy skin. Don't do too much as it could be dangorous, so start out on just one 4 oz. bottle of Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough and make sure thats what you get. Drink, lay down for about an hour and enjoy.
i did it once. it nice in a way. music sounds great and it makes the night adventures fun, but i threw up when i did it at felt pretty bad. i saw just do shrooms and weed in one sitting that seems to fuck me up pretty good.

You could either down the syrup, or you can buy the gelcaps and just down those. No gross after taste, and almost everyone who does the gelcaps don't feel the urge to puke afterwards. Anyway, the DXM was already absorbed, so after sorta brushing my teeth ( I was FUCKED) I laid down and listening to Marley and Floyd the rest of the night.

No offense to hipEstoner, but using Triple C's is one of the worst ways to get DXM. The other active ingredients in there (mostly CPM) is very bad in high doses. Some say it adds to the trip, but it also increases chances of you having a bad trip, and/or dying. I tried it once, and that was enough for me. It wasn't that I didn't LIKE it, it was just that I don't want to do it again because it gave me a HUGE headache the day after, and I'm not sure why.
If you guys would look at the link that was posted, you'd see this...
DXM is considered to be quite safe, even at doses well above those recommended for medical use (10-50mg). A handful of fatalities have been reported from DXM-alone (more are reported from DXM combined with other drugs), but the dosages taken for these fatal overdoses are uncertain. A paper by Gosselin in 1981 estimated the lethal oral dose of between 50 and 500mg/kg (2,500mg for a 120 pound adult at the low and conservative end of his estimate).
Two overdose deaths were reported by Rammer, et al., but the dosages were uncertain. Chronic, daily use of DXM dosages of over 500mg have been reported by several individuals to Erowid, and in a medical study participants were given over 900mg per day without serious adverse reaction.
Read your stuff before you go posting shit like that. Also, why are you calling people losers just for doing a drug? I will admit, it's not as "natural" but cannabis is a drug like any other, including DXM. I don't really think you should call other people LOSERS or PUNKS just because they're doing a LEGAL (or, as I call it, HOUSEHOLD) high. They're quick, relatively simple to use, and if you're smart about it, as safe as weed.
