CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SHIT?

I send my babies off to sleep last night thinking all was well.

I added a 3rd 125W CFL, adjusted the fan and went upstairs for my ritual of getting stoned and email etc....

This morning, upon my instructions, the wife wakes me up early...too many days now I cant see the Cunt and Whore cuz they're in 12/12 and if I missed the last cycle, I can't see them til the next cycle.

So I get up, and get my coffee my smokes, scratch the balls etc...


GO into the gargae, open the closet and this is what I see:

So like a fireman on a 5 alarm call, I water them.

Here they are in 10 minutes....

And finally, in about 30 minutes....

FUCK DUDES.

Close call.

I should have watered them last night, but in trying to create a warmer, more dry environment, I rolled the dice and almost crapped out.

I think they will make a full recovery. I cut and pinched a lot of leaves that wont recover. I prolly have half an oz. in my can now of all the leaves shred since birth.

Anyhow, I took advantage of the disaster to grab a couple of large leaves that were too far gone to recover and looked at them under the scope...

Very nice, very very nice little trichs forming all over the large leaves. Looks like a bunch of clear colered spermatosa all over the leaves.

Anyhow, this is how they stand as of now.......

same shit happend to me to day i over slept by 2 hrs but they wornt as bad as your's all i did was water um and they were up agen in 10 mins your plants are looking nice keep up the good work GREENDEVIL

DPOisen, the white rocks I added as a way to reflect additional light up to the underside of the leaves.

I figured, why have everything reflective but the soil which just absorbs the heat? So I put the white rock there to aid in reflection for the interior growth.

It was working great.

Close call, you probably lucked out because it was at night... the plant droops at night no matter what. but if it needed watering that bad, as well as at night.. the droop would seem worse than it actually was..


Don't do it again though :P who knows how that could affect your plant

Yea my lights go ON at 9:00PM and off at 9:00AM.

I pretty much think what happened was my new light added more heat than I anticipated.

My fan placement was improper. I was blowing only under the canopy and not thru the canopy.

That with the two side fans blowing DOWN, just kept the hot dry air circulating over and over only at the bottom.

All the exhaust was blowing out was fresh air from the intakes and the hot air got trapped.

This was a near miss equivalent to the asteroid that is gonna hit earth in 2012.

I wont do it again, but damn, nothing makes your heart sink to the floor more than to open the closet door and see that shit.

Or maybe opening the closet door and seeing a cop. :eek:

Make sure its a hard rock....mine is marble....

Soft rocks will absorb moisture...from the medium.

Just to clarify, I went to sleep last night, not my babies.

I closed the door and allowed them to get their full 12 hours of light...I thought they were wet enough and figured I would water them in the morning.

I lifted the pots, which is how I can usually tell if they are dry.

I think the added weight of the rock fooled me.

But shit they werent THAT dry.

It was definately the improper fan placement that contributed to the dry heat down at the bottom and underneath the canopy.

Let this be a lesson to those who think a tiny little box or space will work. I only have 3.75 Sq. Ft. and it simply is NOT ENOUGH room for 2 healthy females.

If you've got the space...then sure, but space is pretty valued when you're limited.

i got well over 2.5 ounces in my converted shelving unit/grow box... 1 plant though

drench & dry is all i can say. watch them babies, when the leaves start to hang a little they need water. soak them babies! dirt sucks in this aspect

Why do you have your lights go ON during the night and OFF during the day?

Wouldnt it be much easier if they were ON during the day so you didnt have to worry about disturbing them? Plus if the OFF period is during the night you wouldnt have to worry about light leaking in.

Im just asking b/c thats how I am planning on doing it if and when I get to 12/12, so is there any reason to do it OFF during the day and ON during the night?

I have my schedule set because my closet is in the garage.

Daytime temps here in late June / July will be 90 - 95 +.

My first build cabinet didn't have an air conditioning in it or access to cold air.

Just a way to manage the heat it is all.

No light gets in.

ah shit thats a sad sight i think i would call off work all week n stay home n take care of my babies if that happend to me. stay positive n keep given them love,talk to them
