'Sup you lot. I'm kinda bored so thought of a equally boring thread.

Post your favourite stuff! :D For me it's gotta be my family's MASSIVE hammock, check out that suckah! Anyone that owns a hammock knows there's no better place to toke. Next up is mine and my bro's studio equipment where muchos stoned music is created (he's the DJ, i'm the beat baker) and last but not least... TEA!! My favorite things are, weed, coffee, women, swords, Witchcraft and Paganism, spirits, hookahs, anything that has caffine, and partying.

All my stuff is in that photo (thats my sampler, synth and sound mod in the left hand corner). All my beats are on acid planet, just click the link in my signature.

It's a pretty crummy studio, no PC or anything. Just a cool cotch to bun and make breaks :D !

These are my favorite things in life. Pretty self explanatory. I love cars, girls, weed, and booze (particularly bombay sapphire) If the kittens pic is too "offensive", then the mods can take it off.

Sorry basher...im going to school to become a music producer....soooo i get real excited when it comes to equipment, Im about to build a studio in my house but first im trying to get synth and sampler too, What models? IM trying to save up to get a Triton its like $2,000. But iwant a lil synth like the one u have they are very useful

I use a Roland SP-808 phrase sampler. It's good in the sense it takes zip disks so I have all my tunes saved on like 6 disks, but it's bad as it can only play 4 samples at one time. Not good when it's all you've got. I havn't had any experience with other samplers but I hear Akai make great ones. Unless your gonna be sampling heavily or performing a lot I wouldn't recommend it.
Yeah, i'm WELL up for getting a Triton or Roland Fantom but in the long run, your probably always better off with a computer. All you really need is the right programs and an $80 (or £) MIDI keyboard. If your like me however and wanna collect some serious gear :cool: then go for it.
The baby synth in my photo is an Alesis Micron! It's a miniature combination of Alesis's best synths and has tons of preset sounds. You can create your own but it takes long with only 3 knobs (lots of interface controls to get to know). You'll hear it on most of my tunes, it's definitely a nice synth and v. cheap!
I would recommend getting an all-in-one groove machine like Korg's Electribe series (that's the EMX-1 in the photo). They are good synths and drum sequencers in one cool li'l box. You can do better by buying individually but if your strapped for cash they're a good option i'd say (and wicked fun when you make a tune on the spot :D )!

my favorite things are my kids, music, making music on acid 4.0 and working on reason. husband has the midiman (which i'm about to creep up on). also have the yamaha QY-70. it's pretty ancient but it can still crank out some nice tracks. my husband said that was one of the things that could keep me quiet. can get kinda itchy with 2 musicians in the house. oh yeah, weed is purely one of my favorite things. sports and making beaded artwork.
