Da1...
Your plants are doing really really well.
They are poised to take off....growth during the 4th week and on is really remarkable.
The 'secret' I used was I had true FULL SPECTRUM CFL's.
The Kelvin temp is / was 5500K per bulb...
But when I added MORE light, aka 3 125W Full Spectrum 6400K CFL's, they went apeshit on me.
The only thing you need is more light.
We're gonna fix that though...but even then, thats an HPS and you need BLUE SPECTRUM Lighting to get the growth I get.
Your plants are obviously loved, meticulously watched and cared for.
Yes?
Lighting will do you wonders.
FULL SPECTRUM FOLKS.
The little toy CFL's will only coax so much from your ferns.
Here is a day 22 pic....not that much difference from yours...
the only difference is the lighting.
I dont have a budget.... :) :) :)
I think you are doing a great job with what yours is.
Keep it up there lil bro'.
HAPPY GROWING :)
Thank you so much HARDDON you always lift my spirits. And yes I spend lots of time around them. I wake up happy to see their progress and to just sit and admire. Again Thank you SO MUCH.
1. CUNT DAY 22.........6" inches tall
2. CUNT DAY 39 ........21" inches tall
17 DAYS......15 INCHES of Growth.
Its the lights folks...
LIGHTS!
PRO MIX!
LOVE!
HAPPY GROWING :)
Also I'm gonna look around for those bulbs. I'm pretty sure that I seen them but I couldn't find the thing that they plug into. Also I'm kinda scared that I'm sucking in too much power from one outlet. Is there a way...oh wait nvm I have a tester thing. Thanks for everything man. Also would you suggest taking clones in a little bit?

Everytime I unlock and stand back and open my door.....its like Christmas time aint it?
hehehhehehehe :D :D :D
Wait til you open the door and see fricking disaster. It will break your heart. My first grow I opened the door one day and there they were. So fricking fried they were ready to smoke right then and there.
Totally ruined my week.
But thats when I made the promise to get serious and learn what the fuck I am doing.
Since then, even on this grow, I still get excited when I wake up and grab a robe, my coffee and smokes and head down stairs to see my babies.
Shit I will ususally spend an hour or so just holding em, looking at em, talking to them, blowing right on them.....
Last week I opened the door with the excitement of a child on Christmas day only to see I hadn't addressed their water needs. They were flopped, curled and wilted to the main stem.
I watered them and in 20 minutes they were back to normal.
Right in front of my eyes...I could literally see them turning normal.
Another hour and they would have been seriously damaged goods.
Part of the thrill I guess huh?
Its a shame....
THe only real "TRUE FRIENDS" I have and I gonna chop and smoke them...
I am planning the ceromony as we speak...
My wife thinks I am sick.
I think I am too.
HAPPY GROWING DA1 :)
Man you are at least 3 or 4 weeks from grabbing a cood clone candidate.
You want to take the clone from the secondary growth shoots. Yours are barely there...at least weeks away....
Wait til you fix your light set up.
Wait til your secondary growth alternates at nodes.
You have a ways to go.
As for the lights....you can get the FULL SPECTRUM CFL's that screw into a REGULAR light bulb socket here....
http://www.fullspectrumsolutions.com...rescents.shtml
they are like 28.00 each or something.
work wonders for BiPolar disorder as well... :)
Plug these in and watch what happens....
Thanks ill look into getting a pair of the 65watt ones along with the 2 I have now and the soon to be HPS even though those are only 5500k (the floros). That way I should end up with 1150W and a large array of spectrums gong to the plants. Wow thats a lot. :) yay. Maybe buying 2 more is overkill. Either way I'm gonna catch a ride to places around here and look for anything with a higher Kelvin temp. Mmmm sec my lights around moving around a little too much I gotta go spend more time with my babies. Thanks again.
I just found somewhere that the bulbs I have are around 2700k. So yea I'm gonna get some more bulbs.

Can you take a pic of the sockets that your 6500K plug into so I have a general idea of wat they look like? Very much appreciated. Thanks.
Sure I will but gotta wait til 9:00PM tonight.
Whore and Cunt are sleeping right now :)
Haha ok. :D Mine are sleeping also gonna wake up real soon...let's see here. Another Hour and 20 mins for their nap. I currently have em set on 20/4 gonna slowly move em to 24/0 but they're fine for now.
For what its worth, the never ending debate on 24/0 will forever rage on.
I am firm believer in plants produce hormones during sleep only times and these hormones are fundamental to stress resistance.
Yes, you can accelerate 25% faster growth with 24/0, but that is not what I am after.
I am looking for plant density, plant health and plant potency.
I believe in the 18/6 cycle.
My plants are the result of that cycle and I am pleased... :)
Food for thought lil bro thats all.
HAPPY LIGHTING :)
Yea I meant I'm gonna try moving the light timing around here and there. Like when the pattern I'm using hits 24/0 it'll continue that same pattern in gong back to 18/6 etc. I think that would keep a nice balance between resting and full time growing. Thanks again and Goodluck with your grow.
EDIT: Oh!!!! Also one of the plants' second growth shoots started expanding today and it looks "bushy" in there now. I'll get pics of it in a little.
New pics...
New pics again...
Also when would you suggest I bend these fine young ladies down and have my way with them?
Take another set of pics in 3 days...say saturday and we'll look at them then.
Get the lights closer to the plant top. Looks good but get better. Push the envelope. Looks like 3 inches away from top leaves. Get it to one - one and a half inchs WITH THE FAN.
Keep the fan blowing between the leaves and bulbs.
Those are gonna be super nice.
LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT.... :)
When you get your real lights, you can back off...but with those low spectrums, closer. ANd if they burn dont blame me....hehehhehehheeee
use the fan LUKE!
lol yea I just moved em to about an inch or maybe less away from the plants. Even if the plants end up touching them they should be fine because the fan keeps the bottom of the bulbs a pretty neutral heat.
Just watch em real close because at such a young tender state, they might not tolerate tip burn as well as a more established plant would.
Anyhow, here are the lights and pics....
1. 55W FULL SPECTRUM CFL 5500Kelvin .... $28.00 each...screws into any regular socket. Bulb is good for two years. Most efficient CFL for the money out there for seedlings, young sprouts up to 3-4 weeks.
2. 125W FULL SPECTRUM CFL 6400 KELVIN... $79.95 each...requires mogul base socket. I estimate 14 -16 months of use. Ideal for obtaining skyrocket results indoors after week 3. TWO of these units on any plant will bring out the full potential.
Can be cumbersome because of the length of the bulb AND socket when put together. Like 21" long or so. Long base socket wastes a lot of room and can cast shadows on other plants if positioned improperly.
Easy to hang from ceiling with twisty wires. Flicker free, instant start...burns hot enough to damage human skin like fire. (trust me on this one.... :() Requires fan to cool to get close to plants.
3. Mogul base socket and assmby....$13.95 each...guarantee 5 years.
Its these or metal halides for veg stage folks. If you wanna veg with HPS or ordinary floro's or cheap CFL's you can.
But you will not maximize the plant's genetic potential.
HAPPY LIGHTING :)
yo hardon I got a 125 Watt CFL going on in my setup as well with a reflector above it. saw ur picture above and wanted to note to u that they suggest to not touch the bulb surface because of hand oils. those lights work great.
Shit, anyone can wear a glove...
It takes a real man to face flaming hot projectiles.... :)
HAPPY PROJECTILE DODGING :)
Ok thank you so much for taking the time to disassemble those and show them to me it means a lot.
Sorry Da1 but I got three of these things lying around the garage.
I didnt have to assemble anything.
Now that I am in flower, I only have two on per light cycle.
No room for the others so I'll just save them for my sea of green grow.
I gotta build me a new veg closet.
HAPPY GROWING :)
