Blunt Preferance

Hey I've been wondering what people think the pros and cons of blunts are. what is your favorite cigar to use? what is your rolling technique? Do you only smoke them with a big group or do you smoke some put it out and save it for later?

Personally my favorite is either a vanilla dutch or a strawberry philly. for the dutch i unravel the leaf peel off the extra paper at the mouth peice then lick the edge of the paper and slice it with my fingernail. sometimes i dont even shorten the paper this will get you a really long lasting but sometimes hard to hit blunt thats perfect for partys. with the strawberry philly i just cut off the end lick it up so the outer leaf doesnt fall off and reroll it. this is a very flavourful way to smoke and burns faster than with the dutch so its good if your not sharing it with too many ppl.

woah dont get offensive im just wondering what ppl think about them and about mixing tobacco and weed no need to start something. My second coment was just to get people to respond cuz im curius how ppl do things in other places.

I LOVE BLUNTS :D swisher sweets are the way to go....on occasion a true blunt or philly.

dude, peach phillies, and i usually cut the papers down so they make for about 1.5 g of pot, and maybe like a little tobaccy in the middle so i can catch my breath and just let it bur with out wasting very much bud.
I love razo blades, so i usually do my cutting with those. I tend to let my blunts dry for about 15 minutes before i smoke em.

ive never smoked a blunt rolled with a swisher sweet they dont sell those near me how are those? more or less flavourful/harsh than a philly?

Does noone buy blunt wraps? I love the ez-roll blunt wraps GREEN APPLE, burns slow too...

Blunt wraps are good too but there not as easy to get i mean if you roll witha cigar all you have to do is go to the corner store to get one.

I don't get it... I never seem to get as high off of blunts, but I smoke 'em because all of my friends are really into them; hell, I get smoked down a whole lot because my friends smoke a lot of blunts, so I'm not complaining.

For me, I don't know the brand, but they come in colored plastic cigar tubes; pineapple rolled with some nice fruity buds is my fave.

On a side note, why do you really need to smoke bud 1/8th oz at a time?

philly those are good my friend he had a black and mild and he emptied oyut all the tobacco and put weed in there and it tasted like shit but i guess thats just me i couldn't even taste the weed

my favs (and the only two kinds i acutally will buy or enjoy...but hey i'll smoke any blunt that's passed to me) is white owl strawberry or berry phillies.....dunno why but those are theonly two flavors i like

first i think you are talkin about white owls...cuz those are the only kinds that come in plastic tubes around here....second....i belive it started wtih verylarge groups of people andt hey would only get passed like once or twice cuz of so many peopleso they started makin 'em fat to make 'em last longer...but that's just a thoery of mine....i see no logical reason to smoke thatmuch in one device at one time..i can go through an 1/8 in a day easily but i won't do it all in one thing i like to vary

I think it's retarded to use those cheap fucking machine-rolled "cigars" you see at the gas station. There's a cigar shop in every town in the US; it's not difficult to find one, and such a minimal effort really improves the quality of a blunt. For example, I like to smoke COHIBA. I buy a tin of small ones for $20 or so. It's not often that I do smoke a blunt, so I don't mind taking a nice wrapper to roll. Give it a shot: it makes the experience better, and burns evenly, a characteristic not consistently available in hand-rolled garbage.

Moving on to the cons of the blunt- which, from my experience far outweigh the pros- blunts are wasteful, often difficult to roll, come apart at the wrong time (no matter how skilled your roll) and often, if you're smoking good shit, get so resin-filled that its hard to draw off of one about midway through. They also put off a shitload more smoke than j's, making the blunt quite idiotic if you're in public or live at home- or even an apartment with potential narcs living next door.

So while I may smoke a blunt once in a great while, I stick to bongs and one-hitters, which are the best method of conservation and give the best bang for your buck.

I meet this challenge by smoking mostly dirt weed in blunts.

ok you arelike wrong in so many ways it's not even funny....first of all i don't have a cigar shop anywhere in this town...the closest i got to that is discoutn tobacco stores and they sell cigars yes....the same ones you buy at a gas station...second just about every blunt i roll burns evenly and slowly third blunts are only reallywasteful if you are smoking by yourself or just with just very few people...if you have enough people it doesn't really waste anything if you just hit and pass becasue you are wasting weed everytime you gotta use a lighter to light the bowl....just like a car when it's cold it takes more gas to get it going....a bowl when not lit has to burn a lil extra to get lit good. they aren't difficult to roll either if they are it just means you suk cuz i can roll a blunt with a philie hell of a lot easier than a damn joint...and it doesn't come apart either...you ain't stickin it down good enough obviously ...or could be not lettin it dry good enough before smoking....don't ever use heat to make it dry faster cuz that just messes it up and you have to start again...it needs to dry on its own so that it stays stuck together....the onlyting you are right about is they put off a lot more smoke than other devices/methods....but weed is a pretty strong scent to begin with so even ifyou were blowin a j down in the parking lot someone could smell it just as easy as a blunt....ok i think that about covers everything..

I would have to agree with slipnotpsycho because blunts are fuckin ill. its true that high quality cigars make better blunts but they are way more expensive and it feels like a wwaste to be cuttin em up and shit. on the smell thang blunts dont really smell like weed does or atleast not enough that the kinda people who would narc on you could tell. I dunno if alot of people agree with me but sometimes I like the way that blunts taste more than weed from a J or pipe and its deffinatly better tasting than a bong. Another kick ass feature of a blunt, other than that it burns mad chill, is that if your smoking alone (which I rarely do) you can smoke some and than put it out and save it. I was high for a whole day once smoking a fat ass L.

peache, mango, and mint phillies....i like phillies cause they burn slow but not too slow like a dutchy sometimes a dutchy for real takes fooooooooooooorever.....specially if u got 3 grams in it

yea i do that too sometimes...roll a nice fat ass wtih 2 or 3 grams and smoke some and put it out for later.....they seem to last forever like that....

As i've said before, I rarely smoke them, so my skills may not be up to par. It's just a preference, of course, but thanks for the pointers. And I still prefer a better wrap. I am not a smoker, but if i'm going to suck down leaf, I'd like it to be top-shelf.

in a big group, blunts may be somewhat efficient but overall pipes and bongs are always going to be somewhat more efficient. as I am strapped 4 cash I usually stick with these but I must say that a blunt is just so much more relaxing to smoke. no packing, no ash emptying, no clearing, no cleaning

What kinda weed do you guys like most in your blunts?


I fuckin love rollin a vanilla dutch with some fat blueberry buds that shit is tasty. skunk is also really good in blunts too. but for me one of the beuties of blutns is that if all you have is shwag if you roll it in a blunt its still mad nice and doesnt taste like balls.
