I have wondered about sight for many years. If there had been no sun, no light, no shadow, would we have developed being able to see by some other means, or would there be something else like night vision, or something else, just blind.... who knows.
Now, write us a story, it can be silly, science fiction, what ever, get creative. (I didn't say it had to be about the above, but if you want to make something up, go ahead.

I suppose a skin filmed with phosphors and sensors would give a reasonable apprehension of our local space by sensing the background radiation of just about every thing.
Considering the wavelength of say, gamma rays, the resolution would be many orders of magnitude finer than we can obtain with visible light.

I would like a little story, doesn't have to be real long but a little more then a thought would be nice....and if your the only story well guess you would win too....grammar and punctuation not a biggie with me, I'm smart enough to look past such things, and piece it together....

I've got one of the sadits storys you would ever want to here: I had 24 royar Skunk in my yard at 3 1/2 week Bud, the most gorgeous plants, in the world, and one day the Cu Stopo nock on my door, and took them all way, me too.
And to make things worst , they also came in my house, tour up my safe, and took 2 granm of weed, 1/2 gram hash, then went and took my tent and a 400watt HPS lighting system, and didn't have the decentse to let me have it back after court. Now how said was that?

It was the 4th lunar cycle of the new worlds calendar. Now that our Earth has a 27 hour day, and they are talking like it will be a 31 hour day within 2 decades, our old calendars were no longer applicable. I found some nice patches of ground at the bottom of a pond dams, where leaf covered it thick, and dug some holes as last season began getting cold. Now my extra large compost pile hole is going to become a heating source for my girls I had started inside.
I fill the center with my girl, and place soil from the hole, with my compost around the edge of that, and pray the year allows for an outside grow.
With the axis tilted and 31 hour days...Our bodies would have changed with this?
