Probably a dumb question but i REALLY need reassurance - thanks!

Forgive me for sounding like a total noob. Please give me legit answers and don't make fun of me for freaking out. :P

I am a very occasional weed user, like VERY occasional, once every few months maybe or less. The reason why I'm writing is because I have a drug test (the regular urine test kind for a new job) tomorrow morning, and I did a little bit of weed on Sunday. If I knew that I was going to get hired on the spot, I wouldn't have done it and would have waited until after.

I know a lot of the "how long does it stay in your system" question depends on size/health of the person, and amount/frequency used. I"m a girl, 5"2, about 130 pounds (most of it is from muscle and having a curvier build, I maybe have like 2 pounds of stomach chub or something but that's it, I'm not obese at all and am a pretty small person). I drink about 2-3 regular-sized water bottles a day. Exercise consists of about 4 hours worth (combined) of walking places per day.

As said, I'm a very infrequent user, and the weed used on Sunday was a TINY amount. It was rolled in a joint resembling a regular cigarette, not a bong or a bowl. It was actually my friend's joint, and I shared it for a couple of very brief moments. I just did an inhalation off of her joint for maybe 3-5 seconds, 2 breaths total. It didn't feel that potent at all. In fact, I didn't even get a "high" feeling, just a tiny bit relaxed but otherwise I didn't even notice.

My test will be on Friday morning, so I've had all of Mon., Tues., Weds. and Thurs. for it to get out of my system. From what I've found on Google, I should probably be fine, but I still get really anxious when it comes to work/school things and I am freaking out.

Can anyone give input/thoughts?

I just want to clarify/condense one more time - it wasn't a whole joint or even a major part of one, it was 2-3 inhalations of about 3 seconds each, and it was such a tiny amount that I didn't even notice ANY type of high feeling at all. For a non-frequent user, an amount that little wouldn't be picked up on a typical urine test (don't remember the name of the type of test but it had a 50 in it, you guys know the one) after 5 days would it?

Pick up a THC test kit and test yourself so you know exactly where you stand. Most THC test kits have a cutoff threshold of 50 ng/ml, which is the same as the assay screen you will be taking at the facility.

When testing yourself, be sure to use the first urination of the day.

Well...if it were me I would go down to wal mart and buy a self testing kit and see where your at. If you took a puff or two and I mean a puff or two you might slide by. But at this point it is to late for you to order synthetic urine. I would say avoid fatty foods, do not exercise cross your fingers and drink water but not tons perhaps 7 glasses between now and tomorrow. Remember when giving someone your own urine make sure you catch the middle of your urine stream it is the cleanest!

I do have a 24/7 walmart in my area, but I'm kind of too nervous to check seeing as how my test is tomorrow morning either way, if that makes sense.

Thinking back on it, it was only 2, not 3 hits. And I mean Teeny, TINY puffs. The first one, I don't think I even really got any at all. The second one I got like a two-second inhale, that was IT. And the way it was set up, I'm not sure how to describe it, but I think it was pretty non-powerful in the first place? Like when my friend was smoking it, I wasn't even sure whether it was weed or something like flavored tobacco, because there was barely even the scent of weed.

I didn't get a high feeling at all. I didn't even notice any physical changes.

It was five days ago, and so far, everything I've seen on Yahoo Answers (I've read questions from similar-situation people) indicates I should be okay, because normally amounts that tiny are gone from someone's system within 2-3 days. Does that sound about right to you guys?
Mind you, it wasn't like "one occasion of taking turns finishing a joint and getting mildly high." It was literally "two itty bitty two-second hits, didn't really feel the weed going in, not sure if I inhaled the right way in the first place, did not feel an inkling of high-ness."

And it was 5 days ago.

I would place more credence on the results of a THC test kit, rather than guesswork from other individuals and sites like Yahoo Answers. Especially if passing a U/A and securing a new job is of any importance. Like you've expressed earlier, and what has been pointed out here for years: Each persons body is different. What may work for one person may not be so for another.

If I were to drive to Walmart and get a practice test now, would I be able to see the results immediately? Or how long would it take to see?

Seems like you have gone through with the test - i've heard if you fail it then you will hear within 24-48 hrs from your potential employer. i just recently had to take one for my new job, but i am more than an occasional smoker and just used QuickFix as a substitute - and it works flawless, always has in the past as well. But for you - you could probably just flush it out of your system with water and cranberry juice and be fine if you only smoke so often. Let us know how it went.

THC test kits are instant-type. Just follow the instructions of the kit. Depending on the kit brand and what its instructions state, results are produced anywhere from 3-5 minutes.

I"m taking it tomorrow morning. It's just after midnight now, and I'm going to go do the test tomorrow morning at 7 or 8ish before I have to go to work at my current job (the one i want to leave for the new job). Sorry for the misunderstanding - it's not after-the-fact yet.

I'll drive to Walmart and get one right now and I'll post back to let you guys know.

How much water would I need to be in the clear? I do about 4-5 hours of walking every day, and drink about 3 bottles of water throughout each day on average.

Did you not read any of her posts? She stated twice (in both her opening post and post#5) that her actual U/A is tomorrow morning.

BTW, water and cranberry juice will not "flush" THC out of the body. Drinking fluids will only temporarily dilute the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder, to where a urine sample registers below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. Again this dilution phenomena is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys, and thus the donor is right back to square one. Therefore, drinking fluids is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Drinking fluids days before a U/A is useless.

The only proven way to permanently rid the body of THC is time and fat-burning exercise.

I took the home drug test (actually bought two of them, so just in case I failed one, I could drink a shitload of water and re-test to make sure that works, etc). I did totally fine on it. NEGATIVE!! Whew!!

It was what I was expecting, but there was that gnawing part of my brain that was so, so paranoid. Now I can sleep freely tonight!! =]
